in this movie...In my opinion... Vikram and ashwarya have had the most difficult work..vikram doing 2 diametrically opposite roles..ash repeating difficult sequences twice...

THis is Why Vikram was THE NATIONAL award winner..
he was the dude from the original of tere naam
he was the dude from aparachit
and he was the guy who had a role of a grave digger with literally no dialogues

I am excited

more fr the tamil version than the hindi version..but I will watch both

I salute ash for her work on her accent in tamil...it doesnt look forced...good job! :)

Hey Caro!!

I must say! i first didn't understand! I thought Prithviraj is gonna play the part of Abhishek in Tamil but no... LOL its Vikram who plays the goonda in tamil and plays the opposite in Hindi.. still confused! did I say that right? 🤔

my my....as far as mani ratnam's billinguals go,....i liked Ayutha Ezhuthu soo much better than yuva....but thts also because the actors were better in the tamil version (surya > ajay), (madhavan > abhishek), (siddharth > vivek), (meera > rani)....here too i get the feeling tht im gonna like the tamil version better because i adore both prithviraj and vikram....but lets see...u never kno..abhi might surprise me...for now....super excited for the hindi version but super duper excited for the tamil one!!!!

Could someone explain me why they have made 2 version of this movie. Also I have read somewhere that both of the movie would release on same day.

Is there a reason behinde all this things?

Well Mani Ratnam is a tamil movie director who decided to do Bollywood as well after he got all India acclaim with Roja. He has directed a lot more tamil movies before that like mouna ragam, the classic Nayagan and anjali to name a few.

So even though he is making raavan in hindi, he has to make the Tamil version simultaneously as whatever he is today is bcoz of his work in tamil cinema.
