The character's ultimate aim is to unite AR when she finds out. She's going to be giving Ammy tough competition in not only basketball! :P

Plus she's fun-loving and more mature than Ridz, because she needs to be like that to show Ridz what she's losing!

form my recent observation,i feel that in allikely ness AR will be togther...they are just using sid to strech the tale....so this new girl will not only help to mend AR relations...i hope it happens.....i do want to see AR togther!

Well as the written update gave strong indication of a new entrant. I started to wonder what kind of girl should enter the show and get Riddhima super jealous, get some sparks flying on DMG and perhaps finally unite AR.I like the fact that this girl trying to unite AR....Further explainations with each para....

1. The character should have some hidden dark past which led them to take the specialization they have (i.e. if she is a trauma ER doctor, then perhaps she lost her family in a accident or a terrorist attack, or if she's an oncologist, she's lost her parents to cancer, and that deepened her resolve to become what she is today). And she is 110% committed to her work because of these past incidents. She's a complete workaholic, who's fainted before from working so hard like (18hrs each day for like consecutive weeks), but she doesn't care, as for her medicine is her life, and she's happily married to her work. I like this aspect....at least we can see some serious Work in Sanjeevani which is turning into a mental asylum day after day....

2. She is a sarcastic cynic when it comes to love. However the reality is that she is afraid to fall in love because she knows that if she does, she won't be able to control herself, and would go fanaa for the person whom she loves. That's why she builds a wall of sarcasm to protect herself. However she does long for her soulmate. She wonders sometimes if God put marriage in her destiny, or he has some higher purpose in life for her. Deep Characterization...i like the concept...and i def like the attitude of going Fanna for the one you love....

3. Another hidden thing could be that she writes poetry, and especially those about love! Now that's what you call conflicting! And she's promised that she will only share those poems with her soulmate. A true hidden passionate romantic! She's someone who never looks in the eyes of a guy because she feels they are the gate to the heart, and she doesn't want to fall for anyone for the fear of getting hurt or rejected.

4. She is born and brought abroad yet she is a hard core desi from the inside. She speaks English with a foreign accent, yet when she's in the sabzi-mandi you can't tell she's a videshi ma'am, she'll answer in normal un-accented hindi! So if the CVs decide her on being an NRI, they can put the song "Desi Girl" on her as her theme song!😉😉😉😉😉 Cooll...i like it

5. When she dresses for work, she's always in western pant or skirt suits with high heeled shoes, portraying the Western sophisticated doctor. However if you see her outside duty hours, she's in a simple salwar-kurta being the typical sweet conservative desi girl next door. Jhatka par jhatka I like this.....We can have a new wardrobe for a change

6. When you go to her cabin, you will see that she keeps a copy of the Holy Geeta on her shelf with a statue of God (well since it's the Geeta, we can say Lord Krishna). She strongly believes in the concept of 'karma''. Alongside in the evening after duty hours, you will find her in the gym working out. Plus eve-teasers watch out, she's a black belt in karate, she won't take nonsense. I'd like to see her take out her high heeled shoe, whack a jerk in the face, should give JP an indication not to call her flower ji!! lol This is something really innovative....I like this side of the character...

7. She always addresses the other doctors by their last names as she very formal, even Shanky, because that's how she is used to. And even when Armaan can tell her that she can address him as Armaan, she tells him- "Well, I pick my friends very carefully Dr.Mallick!!" Plus, being the independent strong person she is, she can actually stand up to Shanky and give him tit for tat in a respectful way demonstrating his faults if he blames Ammy. Slowly she accepts Ammy's friendship, and calls Armaan! Haan...Now you are talking...i like the attitude...and shashank definitely needs someone to make him realize he is no GOD

8. When it comes to interns, she's more ruthless than Gabbar er I mean Keerti. She is so dedicated to her work, that even a little mistake towards her patients can get her fury unleashed. Otherwise she's got a good deal of patience. She expects her interns to be fully informed of the tasks and the cases that they have under her. Otherwise she considers it a deliberate insult to her and her time, and she will not tolerate that, and kick the intern off her team (Watch out JP and Siddy!!! It would be funny if she actually did kick one of them of her team for inadequate preparation towards the case! Especially if it was Siddy, he can go complain to Shanky, but this new entrant won't budge on her stand until he does rectals 24 X 7 for a month!). However, at the same time she has impeccable bedside manners, and is cheerful towards her patients, and colleagues. If her interns come and ask for her help, she is ready to listen, and help them with all resources available to her. In a nutshell, she is a strict disciplinarian with a heart of gold. The seniority attitude is very much needed....we have a bunch of interns who does everything but treat patients...

9. Oh, and I forget to mention she's absolutely stunning? Wherever she goes, she gets heads to turn around, and when she speaks she easily grabs everyone attention because she has exceptional oratory skills. Beauty with brains. She even gets Dr.Armaan to admit that she's got brains and charisma. And lastly she is decisive, if she doesn't know what she wants, she def knows what she doesn't want. Nice....i love the way you said "if she doesn't know what she wants, she def knows what she doesn't want". i wonder who would fit in to this bill....Thinking.....Guess what this part reminded me for unknown reason that Chandana Sharma who portrayed Damini Gujral In Love ne mila dhi jodi will fit perfectly in to this bill

10. Needless to say she's against physical (spousal) abuse. She speaks her mind on how if a guy dared hurt her on purpose intentionally, she'd whack his head and not stick with that crap relationship in her life, maybe hinting at clueless brainless Riddhima! ...Oh yes we definetly need someone to put some sense in to Riddhima....as well as many of the other characters in DMG...

11. The interns try hard to pair her up with Ammy. However, she understands that there' s something wrong with him, and she helps him come out of it. Perhaps she could start liking him like Muskaan did, but she knows better, and decides to stay on stand-by until he makes the move.

Basically it should be a character with multiple layers to her personality which slowly get displayed. And she should have great chemistry with Armaan to get Riddhima fuming with envy, just Keerti was fuming when Paroneeta came in the show! But the essence would be that they are great colleagues, bonded into a very close friendship. A pure friendship like he shared with Nikki or Muskaan.

She should be the perfect girl any guy could dream of because if she is going to paired against Ammy even temporarily she should be up to the mark. I like the Usage of words here....Armaan!!!😍

Would love it if Nana commented on her "Eh Apple, yeh meethi katari kaun hai? Yeh bhi doctor hai. Sun na, mere ko bhi issay ilaaj karana hai!" Ammy tries hard to shut Nana up, because he knows that she will get offended. However, the new entrant smiles, and comes to Nana, and jokes with him. Ammy scratches his head thinking yeh toh ek paheli hai! Kabhi kuch reaction, toh kabhi kuch aur! And Nana thinking maybe he can actually get a chance to go out with the new doctor! that would hilarious!! Remember how he had a crush on Keerti!!

Maybe due to her personality, she gets Siddhant attracted towards her, as she's also an NRI. And he decides to be more professional in his attitude, and perhaps he realizes what a mess his relationships are!

All these ideas are wishful thinking!
