When I was younger I never appreciated singers like Pt Kumar Gandharva , Pt Bhimsen and M. S. Subbbalaxmi. I remember me and my friends used to make fun of them. And when my dad used to play some bhajans sung by one of these singers I remember quickly changing the song to Oye Oye song from tridev :). I dont know what changed now but I really like their music now.
Pt Kumar Gandharva is an inspiration. Even though he lost one of his lungs to cancer he still became one of the best singers and musician in India. I am sure most of u know about him.
