Apart from cat-eye beauty Aishwarya Rai, there are many other Bollywood luminaries like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Revathy and Suniel Shetty, who have donated their eyes. Following the charity trend Juhi Chawla has also pledged to donate her eyes to Dhameecha Eye Hospital at Porbandar. She decided to do so while she was on visit to a relative's place, where a camp for free cataract operation was going on. Juhi's support to the camp encouraged many people and around 40,000 pledged for eye donations in three months.
