Strategic Actions for Shaan to win MKMM

Guys and Gals, as some posts have suggested and I agree that although Shankarji is an acclaimed artist and we all respect him, his team has only one person who sings consistently - Rahul, while in Shaan's team Anwesha, Dobojit and Shadab all three are wonders. This points to the fact that if this show is all about emerging talent, then Shankarji is winning this by his personal talent. Although I have no favourites, I see strategies in works that overpower pure talent.

The only thing Shaan Strikers can do to win the finals is to stick a duct tape on Shankar's mouth. If they don't do it, Shankar will sing in all the rounds of the finals.

The finale is just a formality to showcase the finalists and declare the winner.Voting will end before the show starts.Then no jury votes.The fate of Shankar and Shaan will be sealed before the show.It does not matter who sings how and what and how much.That is why pre-finale was so crucial.

Vasamv your sarcasm is justified to some extent but the finale result will be decided on who wins the finale episode and public votes.

Yes Shankar's rockstars do have a slight edge but the final points tally and public vote will decide the winner.

Song selection should be good.

And in the medley, it can be high or low energy, or whatever, but I think when the songs are related and are old favourites/very familiar/, they seem to work best. For instance, if they were to do quawalis, choose some of the very very hit ones - don't put in any obscure half-known stuff, even if you were the original singer or its music director is sitting in front of you.

I think that is why Mose chal's holi stanza sung by Anwesha went so well, and songs like Tere mere milan ki, Kora Kagaz or Ghanan ghanan or Chhaiyan chhaiyan go down equally well.

In the end, everyone likes a nice song that they remember well.

I think personally, Shaan should sing a few times because Shankar will probably sing like 4 times and send Rahul out there once! 😳 I'm not trying to disrespect Shankar because he's an excellent singer, but this show is about promoting new talent not how good Shankar is. Shaan should also have Anwesha and Debojit sing a duet because their voices sound sooo good together! Anwesha should sing a solo of course. Oh and he needs to train Shadab more because he messes up quite a bit. His medley just needs to be songs that the audience likes and is familar with. Sometimes the social meanings don't go well with the audience. Like Shankar's one about bride burning or Shreya's one on humanity did not do too well. Also typically slow ones don't do well either.
