On Hemachandra

"Hemachandra has a distinct tonal quality. His voice is masculine and his timbre is good. He is like Hariharan, Yesudas and S.P. Balasubramaniam. It's sad that he did not make it to the finals.

Vinit:

Vineet on the other hand has a kid-like quality when he sings higher notes. He is better with lower ones. His voice is similar to Sonu Nigam's. But the sympathy tilts towards him as he is lovable and child-like. Himesh (Reshammiya) pushes him too hard and is trying to create hype around him."

Debojeet:

Debojit has an extraordinary range which is ideal for a playback singer. I can compare him to Kishore Kumar. I am amazed at the resilience with which he bore all insults hurled at him by the mentors and the three participants who decided to walk out on him. They are unnecessarily prejudiced."

so ID is sayin hema is better than vinit..right?? they y on earth did he always give hema a lesser score on the mentometer than vinit??

How come ID never praised Hema whole heartedly ever...he did that for Himani...why did none of the mentors really give hema his due??

Thanks a lot for sharing it Neeraj ji. Can we see that even here ID did praise Hemu who never belonged to his Gharana but we know he is a good singer, that's called Judge/mentor, unbiased. He is the one who always praised when anyone sang good without thinking to which gharana they belonged. He alsoo accepted now he is better known because of SRGMP, that's callled Honesty. I like him as a person.

agree Sarah, things are not as trasparent as they appear. To be truethful to you I don't remember how much has he given to Hema & others on his meter.
But atleast he is praising Hema for what he deserves.
I don't have much interest in this show Sarah.
I want this circus to be over as early as possible.
In fact by now they should be having results with them.

If he did not like Vinit's voice that much, why did he continously give him such high marks? He is contradicting himself.

Raghav I also think that his opinion has changed drastically on last few weeks after Nihira ouster probably.
