Terrorism -reasons, psychology and solutions

Terrorism should be dealt with, differently at differently levels. You can't just take one approach, apply everywhere and think it will work.

The world should get rid of Terrorists and Pirates ASAP.

improvements in the security system will help alot.

The first test is on and let us see if the Nato forces succeed in Afghanistan. so far some of the Taliban leaders have been caught.

We too can play a part.

Anyone knowing potential terrorists should report them immediately. All suspicious characters in your neighbourhood should aso be reported immediately.

Why do people become Terrorists ?

1. There must be some motivation and often it is for greed and wealth I think. To get what they want they often make use of religion so that they can get more people to join them by promising Heavenly Rewards.

2. Some become Terrorists to extract revenge for sorrows and suffering of their own people by "outsiders" or a different ethnic group.

3. some become Terrorists because they are unemployed. Of course some are forced by their village heads or family against their own will.

Some of these problems are due to unequal distribution of wealth. If the rich do not help the poor sooner a later there is bound to be social unrest and problems.

Terrorists thrive when there is a weak government who cannot run the country well.
