Further, he told us, City of Gold is a crisp, stylised and hard-hitting film based on the 1982 mills strike and highlights the trials and tribulations of workers and their families. I think it's a reality based film and I am sure the audience will get the authentic feel of the film."
The actor feels that he is fortunate that at an early start of his film career, he has worked with actors like Seema Biswas, Sachin Khedekar and a director like Mahesh Manjerakar.
"It was great working with them and I can't express what all experiences I have got from these people," says an elated Karan.
So, when we asked whether with this has he bid adieu to TV he says, "No, if I get a good role on TV, I will accept it and its not that I have said bye to TV soaps, but right now I am focusing on my film career."
About his future projects, Karan said, "I am just waiting for this film to release in April so let's see..."
