February 12, 2010 Written Update

Padma tells Jyoti she cant go there since there might be guests, and she tries to get the message to KK abt Pankaj's engagement w/o referring to it but she leaves KK simply puzzled. Jyoti tells Padma that she already knows abt the engagement, and Padma feels really guilty abt earlier. Padma tells her she still thinks it's a bad idea, but Jyoti manages to convince her.

Pankaj's mom opens the door to Jyoti and KK and is speechless. Jyoti asks if they can come in and she leads them into the dining room where everyone is seated. KK informs them of Deepu's wedding and asks them to come. Pankaj gets up and excuses himself. Jyoti asks if she can go talk to him, and with hesitation they agree. She goes there and tells Pankaj that she knows they have no relation, but there is no need for any bitterness b/w them now since everything is over and done. Pankaj tells her clearly that he is not comfortable going to that wedding with her there and she tells him that it's ok, but she still thinks it would be nice if he came. Jyoti comes out and overhears a conversation b/w CM and KK.

CM tells KK that sending Sudha for the tilak was one thing, since it was only a minor family get-together… but they wouldn't be able to come to a wedding with a lot of guests since everyone knows what Jyoti did to Pankaj and she wouldn't want to put her family into that sort of situation. She tells him that with Jyoti living in that house, its impossible for Sudha to attend the wedding, since after all she is now a Vashisht.

Later at home Deepu threatens to not get married if it means Jyoti cannot be there. Jyoti makes him understand how much Sudha wud want to be there… and if it means that Sudha can come, then she's fine with not being there. He asks if she realizes how much that wud hurt him, and she tells him she knows. End.
