What all he has done for her.....
Saved her from RB, saved her marriage to that womaniser, loved her in spite of her age, average looks(according to storyline), managed to open her dad's shop, gives her 10000 rupees without any question, found a job and house in 2 days deadline, sold his jeep to buy her a ring(she still doesn't wear it), left his luxury to be with her, puts up Simi belittling him, runs to her college to check she is fine, goes to the extent of electrocuting himself (sad, sad, sad),was willing to ask for her hand, manages to tackle Anita's new plans, proves not to be a womaniser with Anu's episode, went in search of her when all abandoned her on the road, emotionally supports her, convinces his mom, cooks in her house, puts up with Manju's insult, takes private pheras to officialise even after the Roka, stays with her out all night in search of Neetu, manages to get Neetu released,........
SIGH.......Is this fellow going to continue like this......
After totally draining him emotionally, will Simi accept Nakul's proposal for her sister's sake????
Please, I feel pukish already if thats in store for tomorrow.

Abhi had decently asked her to be his best friend. She wasn't willing because then she did not have a proper suitor after RB was packed off. She calls him baccha. When she fell in love she must have thought...koi aur nahi to bachcha hi sahi......
I dont like to write like this because i expect and also know that Simi does love Abhi. But then you cant take him for granted.

simi herself is bachchi in her mind who needs a constant reminder that whatever she is doing is right and approval of her mom. So she is relying on abhi and her mother for everything. i am really very serious when I say this. As it is highly unusal the way she reacts when she is in trouble. Rather than finding a way she cries. To me when you are in trouble you first find a way out of it.

Simi can not admit to herself that she has fallen for some one who is in real sense bigger(older than her in true sense) who gets him out of troubles. So she keeps calling him bachacha to make herself feel good.
Her insecurities are deeply rooted and most bullies are in true sense insecure ppl who needs a constant reminder that they are superior and tehy feel superior calling other's names just liek simi calls abhi.

Simi is really bullying abhi in to doing things.Abhi does not realize this and keeps doing it for his love. He needs to straighten simi if he truly loves her and deny her or refuse to do things for a change.

Abhi gets treated like dirt and dormat by his own sister, Anuj, Neetu and Manju. And partly by Simi also either by calling him kid or by keeping quiet when her mom is misbehaving.
Sure she loves him but then wont you be overtly protective and possessive when you are in love. I feel Neetu is better. In spite of knowing the truth, she is fighting for Vicky in front of her dad and Abhi.
Abhi is the one who actually deserves such blind love.
I liked Simi when she cuts short Anita and asks her to treat Abhi with respect. After all she is his elder sister. Simi better learn to say such things to Manju. First of all she has to stop calling him kid and treat him equal. I am not very hopeful about tomorrow's episode. So i had decided i will not ruin my weekend in useless anxiety. But unfortunately, I am addicted to this show.
After tomorrow's rona dhona, i may still continue to watch the show for Abhi alone if ever they continue to keep him in the show or they may pack him off like they did with Vicky.

Yes I agree I hated when he was thrown out like that !! I mean the whole scene was ridiculous . and hated Anusha that time she never stood up for her son and on the other hand Manju was soo protective ..
Manju had o right to hit him like that and speak soo rudely

The other highlihted part I hope Simi keeps her word when she cut Anita by telling 'Iss Ghar Kay Honey Waley Damaad !!"" If she truly thinks that Abhi is her wud be husband and she says the truth abt his stautus for the house and to her self she better tell to the ones ( Daggar's) who have come to ask Simi's hand

Di,
I never thought from this angle. I am actually thinking now. It does make sense for Simi's behaviour in extremes. But if this is true, will Abhi realise sooner or later and take things under control.
Whatever you wrote, makes me reconsider my version that Simi is mature. But while taking decisions about going and talking to Anita's parents to accept AA wedding, she was bold and strong. Even Anita tells Abhi that time...Bahut strong hai Simidi for which Abhi says Zaroor unke paas bhi koi lucky bell hoga

Shanti, Even if Abhi is willing to be there for Simi, I have never once heard Simi ever say to Abhi, Abhi, you have always been there for me. I am who I am because of you. Some heartfelt dialogue of sincere, love, appreciation and gratitude. For heaven's sake, at least give him that much. The only time she ever spoke up for him was towards Anita when Anita refused to in the kitchen to help. I would like for her for once to stand up to her mother. Sure mum's going to cry but once there is a grandchild in the picture, she'll come around.

You remember he asked her that in the college when he tried to electrolyte himself and she gave a big bhashan that he did'nt see that she did'nt want him to ask and kept telling him not to do so and never understood why she was doing all that Arrey yaar how will he knpow does he get bhavishya wani abt all that !!
If Abhi start controlling her she might just start throwing tantrums and I fear she might walk out and Abhi is also quite vulnerable.. Now Abhi should take control of the matter and do what he feels right !!!

Thank you for an excellent post! 👏
You have echoed my sentiments exactly. It seems like the majority of tv serials thrive on this idea of ek tarafa mohabat (one sided love) almost always on the part of the guy. The leading ladies are always shown as weak, self-sacrificing characters who put their obligations to their families (especially those family members who betray them and plot against them) before their own right to happiness.
Just once I'd like to see gals like Simi own up to their individuality and rights at happiness with the men they love.

This confirms she does not care a damn for Abhi. Did she at least confront Neetu asking her...Do i have to suffer for you getting knocked up after a one-night stand. I am not the one who is pregnant with my lover's child.Well Simi herself is ready for that. She does not mind sleeping wiith Nakul. How disgusting.

I like Abhi's adamance. But he should understtand a girl who does not have any values regarding commitment, about her roka to him and is willing to forgo off him at her whims and fancy, may continue like this even after marriage if ever. Today post roka, she is giving up her love for Neetu's pregnancy. Tomorrow post wedding with Abhi, she may still give up her marriage may be next for Mili.
Being loyal to one's partner does not mean sex related physical loyalty alone. Its more so on the emotional front. That way Simi is not loyal to Abhi. She does not deserve Abhi.
I will read the written updates hereafter. I quit watching this crap anymore. Just plain disgusting.

Anyone wud atleast respect the Roka given to you !!! Is it a joke that she accepted Abhi's Roka infront of everyomne and the Mahaan dialogue she gave that "Ha Mujhey Kabool Hai !!! and Jo bhi Mai kar rahi hoon Pura Hosho hawaz say !! " And had the whole world seeing the whole Roka ceremony .. The same crowd will end up if she gives Nakul the Roka would'nt they !!!

DOes she think this is bachon ka khel... Is int She is keeping Nakul in the dark by not telling him abt the Roka she accepted from Abhi ??

I agree with you. I think the creatives need to listen to what is being said in this forum. We don't want a rendition of the RB saga between Nakul and Simi with the marriage being stopped at the last moment.
