Rahman Out Of Oscar - An Article

Indian maestro musician A R Rahman is out from the Oscar race in 2010. He failed to earn a nomination for his song 'Na Na' for his Hollywood debut movie 'Couple's Retreat' for the Best Original Song category in 2010. Rahman had won award in 2009 for his super hit composition 'Jai Ho' and created history by becoming the first Indian to win two Oscars. The 'Mozart of Madras' had struck gold at the 52nd Grammy Awards on 1st February 2010 by bagging two gramophones for his music in the Danny Boyle film 'Slumdog Millionaire' which had won eight Academy Awards in 2009.
