Hii Vijay sir.

I dont know if theres any connection, but as the new IF Homepage came, the page no box which is usually there on the top of the page vanished.

And it was replaced by the same page no sequences that is there on the bottom of the page-

1 2 3 ..... and then the last 2 pages

Sir the pg no box used to really help, to reach pages like 54 instantly where there are 1-150 pages

and now we have to go from the starting, till we reach that speacific page.

Please vijay sir, bring that box back.

Thank god someone has initiated this topic, I'm pissed with this myself. It's very difficult to jump to, say pg 45, when there are 100 pages. This needs to be recitified asap.

I too want that! For the time being i'm managing by Going to PG2 of the post and then Changing the TPN Like

i like that the sequence of page numbers are at the top and bottom now

but i agree i want the page number search back

Also Vijay can u add the page number sequence at the bottom in the PM system too i get frustrated at the fact that when i read, search pm's i have to scroll back to top to go to the next page

well till the page number box comes back here is a short cut u can use...

change the URL

For example..
if i want to go to page number 100 of a topic which is on page 8..

the page 8 will be linke this
http://india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1300364&TPN=8

to go to page 100 just change the last number to 100

like

http://india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1300364&TPN=100

it will work

this is jsut a back up idea till the page number box comes abck
