Everyone is human, including ACP, Abhijeet and Daya...I didn't like the fact that Abhijeet was attending meetings with seniors and deciding on replacement when ACP was in the hospital...I also remember that Abhijeet wanted Daya to come to the bureau...Daya forgets...because he was spending time with ACP. Daya was driving ACP to his house, when Abhijeet calls him again and asks him to come to the bureau...I thought he could have asked Daya to drop the ACP and then come. Why did he have to make Daya turn around in the middle of the night?
Abhijeet was not that close to the ACP at that time....even Daya used to address him as 'sir'....that distance was there....they were more colleagues than friends.
Abhi Sir humare zara agressive hain. Most of the time all his emotions come out in the form of aggression while Daya Sir is more expressive can show his emotions, shed a tear. Not just Nanhi Gavah but when ACP was hung and almost died, or when Daya Sir almost died, he did let his emotion out.
Abhijeet lets his emotion out only when someone's life is threatened. It has happened only on these 2 occassions in the entire history of CID as far as I know. I don't think he is emotionally attached to anyone else.
Even in Nanhi Gavah, he didn't shed tears when the girl was taken away. But he showed the 'soft' side...taking the girl to his house...making different dishes for her, trying to talk to her in sign language etc.
I was mentioning the 'soft' side...I don't mean shedding tears. It's difficult to explain...

I know what you mean. since shedding tear is considered the ultimate way of expressing one's emotional side, I gave that example. But you are right, he does not let his soft side out most of the time. But we still know that he has that side to him.

About Abhi Sir attending meeting when ACP was blind, he did not have a choice, when seniors call you, you have to attend. He was the second in command so in ACP's absence he had to take the additional responsibility. And it was not like he wanted to take over, when ACP was leaving he did not want him to go. But yeah why call Daya Sir so late at night, just to create that blind witness case, I guess.

PS - Is this site undergoing any up-gradation or something like that. The formatting going haywire. Something is wrong today.
