thanks yashi i think now sam starts to bring out gun's insecurity and inferiority compex , yesterday's act was his first step i guess and he did it publicly was the answer for sam's girl fans that gun is perfect for him and he loves her now he will try to persuade this thing to gun that she is perfect for him n none girl can be like her bcz she is different from others you know if sam falls for her its main reason is gun's simplicity bcz sam met lots of girls but when he met gun she was totally different from others ,she is simple, truthful, naive, and delicate and most important only gun understands him

gosh i loved that scene hon....it was really beautiful....cuz gunjan never thinks of herself as beautiful and keeps saying why would anyone want to be with her...this was sammy way of showing her and everyone (like that cheerleader).....that he thinks his chasmish is very beautiful and he cant control himself when he looks at her...god i love samrat for doing this...gunjan really needs to understand that she is really special...

Exactly, It was just a peck on the cheek............ It's no big deal. Nowdays there is lots more going on in India.......... even between students of middle & high school....Further more he did it in public to make a point and also it was the first step towards making Gun feel worthy of his love.....................HE HAS TO COURT HER IN PUBLIC TO MAKE HER REALIZE THAT SHE IS LOVED AND WANTED.She has to gain that confidence in herself that she is beautiful,desirable and there will be guys who would want to be with her. That can only be done publically.
I think cv's have tackeled the issue in quite a mature way.................. I hope they are able to carry on in this manner.

But, is that a way to brush off G's low esteem issues. G's concern was not like N's She doesnt think S is embrassed of her or anything... she just feels S is a lot cooler, popular etc..who could get any girl.

What S should ve done is to make her(also others) realize her worth.... that any guy would want to be with her...

I dont see how being kissed By Samrat ifo entire raises her worth among fellow students, who think S is the settler and G is the catcher in this relationship?

If we think frm both the sides.... thn its ryt also to prove gunji that gunji is perfect for samrat.....for that samrat is expressing his luv for gunji....!!! but in public place doing all this is wrng in one prticular point...!!!!

I live in US and have seen PDAs since I was in middle school. I used to have friends making out in the Common room when I just started high school. I had a huge debate in my school as to what was wrong if a boy and girl held hands - if no one objects to two girls holding hands why should you object to a boy and girl? One of the girls in my class got pregnant when I was in High school - and obviously we saw her indulging in plenty of PDA with her boyfriend - at times a bit too much. For me, PDA is something that happens all the time - and I don't even bother to give it another look.

PDA is treated differently in school vs college/university. In US many of the school districts ban PDAs - some limit to holding hands - because of the belief that an educational institution is not the place for it. However, in universities/colleges - PDAs are common specially in college campus areas - cafeteria, playgrounds, walkways EXCEPT in a classroom. In college the students are assumed to be adults. They are old enough to vote - so it is assumed that they would have enough sense not to be so demonstrative in a classroom - a place where they have come to study. Indulging in PDA in a classroom is an insult to the professor. However, in a college campus area (grounds, cafeteria, etc - except a classroom) nobody pays any attention - being demonstrative with a person you love is fine - though obviously it has to be kept within limits. Because loving someone is fine, but one needs to think of the public too!!

That being said - personally I'm still against PDA in an educational institution be it college or school. Question is where do you stop? Because today it's holding hands, and then a hug, and then it's a kiss on the cheek, and then can lead to something more - and an educational institiution is not the place for it.

Sammy obviously indulged in that kiss on the cheek for Gunjan's self confidence - He heard her say out loud that she was not good enough for him - so he wanted to make sure that she never thought that again - and to wipe out that feeling, he indirectly told her - via the kiss and the hand holding - that he was proud to be with her and had no qualms in showing those feelings in public. Remember the dance, where Gunjan was drunk, and Samrat was the one telling her to control herself - but now he felt that he had to do it in public so as to erase all Gunjan's self doubts. And for Cvs it worked, because that meant Nupur could see them together - and so allow them to move the GuNur storyline forward.

But now that Samrat has accomplished what he set out to do - prove to Gunjan that she's the one for him and that she need have no doubts, I really hope that Sammy is not going to be indulging in anymore PDA. Gunjan is a very private person and Sammy knows that so Samrat should respect Gunjan's sense and sensibilities. Both Gunjan and Mayank have a come a long way since the early days - since both their partners are more demonstrative - however, they still feel uncomfortable when their partner demonstrates love publicly - though they both accept the demonstrative nature of their respective partners.

For me, love between two people is a beautiful and private emotion and it is something that only those two share - so does not need to be displayed to the rest of the world. Yes, sometimes you feel like shouting from the rooftops - but then again - hopefully nobody is there at the rooftop with you except the person you love!!
