I agree, thats what makes it so special. Today if you are a Daya Sir fan the only place you can go is CID. This is probably the only and possibly the last series that has the old world charm. In the good old DD days you did not know any actor, their name, what they do, how good or bad they are. Our opionions on them were charatcer driven not on what we saw on shows like SBS. If the charatcer touched your heart, you loved him, or hated him and you would recorgnise him with the characters name. I love that old world feel. I still don't know Mr Wagle of Wagle Ki Duniya fame, Kitty of Karamchand Fame by thier real names. Its not ignorance that the way the charcter lives on.
