I don't have problems switching between Inspector Abhijit and Aditya Shrivastav. Two distinct names, two different people. And then we have seen him is so many varied roles in movies. I doubt it will ruin any reputation of Abhi Sir you have in mind. The wonderful thing is we got to know he can do song and dance. Now makes him an all round performer.

I am keen to see Dayanand Shetty this time. I know the face for years but not the man, gives a strange feeling. I am not going to miss this for sure.

Whatever he does, I'll not mind, but not dancing with Tarika...plssssss...................

In his performance with Tarikaa he gave rose to Tarika in front of Salunke...... Now you must be getting irritated

Cmon Visrom just visulaise as 2 side of a coin...... Even if they don't like but they had to perform because it was CID awards.... Then who else will perform. What would have they done..... " Welcome everyone........Blah blah speech.......heres the winner list ........Thankyou.......". They need to show some performance realting to CID. TRPS

I remember a couple of years back, Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan had appeared in towels and cream in a Filmfare awards ceremony. It was sooooo cheap, stupid, and undignified. I started hating Shahrukh Khan after that awards ceremony. Has Amitabh Bachchan ever done something like that?

CID gallantry awards is something serious...honouring brave people of our country. They cannot turn it into some cheap masala stuff by making someone like Aditya Srivastav sing and dance.

Why are you so serious, man. It's just a awards ceremony. It's not an exam that you have to pass. That's why it's called entertainment. Is this really cheap? And I remember the SRK, Saif Ali Khan thing, that wasn't cheap at all. If you call that cheap, then what about all the kissing scenes they show in movies?

Maybe i felt too strongly about a certain issue. This discussion is turning to be too serious...let stop this, ok?

No offence meant to any Shahrukh Khan / Saif Ali Khan fans...I still love their movies. Sorry if I have hurt anyone

I started watching CID quite..umm..quite late, but since then have tried to catch every episode possible.😃

I still remember my perceptions of my first episode and then the few that followed. I had absolutely no clue who these actors were(also the characters that they were playing) except for ofcourse ACP. I had watched Johnny Gaddar twice and Satya maybe five times before this, ek hasina thi once ,but I just didn't recollect Abhijeet or Daya. My fault completely.

But then I realised that herein lies the beauty of CID. The team is so exclusive that unintentionally you start to believe in them for the characters that they have been potraying for years. I started wondering whether I could look at them as somebody else.....and I admit..I couldn't.. I watched all of the above said movies again, I couldn't take Inspector Abhijeet out of Aditya's performance. Quite surprisingly I felt very, very bad when Dayanand Shetty was killed in Johnny Gaddar.Nowadays, I have started looking at Mr. Satam with a completely new awe😛.

So yes, its really difficult to identify with them as anything else bcz as it is we have been only watching them as their characters for sooooo loooong now and with so much passion, add to it the non-stop 9-10 hours of daily dosage for so many days now.

But I can't wait to watch them as themselves now. I am too curious.😆
