No I don't know that it has ... most 'wounds' after all are healed by the magic known as the immune system ... for we have yet to hear of it being used, for example, in treating casualties of accidents or wars (and thems some wounds) ... nor have we seen empirical evidence that even minor wounds without the use of haldi do not either heal or heal slower (and there is no way to hold constant any number of other varying parameters that could also be a significant influence in such cases) ... now, I will tell you of a case of an idiot who's walking around to this day advocating the use of huldi to cure cancer and is convinced that he lost his young (yep about 56) wife to breast cancer because she chose to heed the local medicos and subject herself to radiation and chemotherapy (he's smarter than all of the 'Big Bang' Theorists, Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj put together because he has a PhD y'see!!!) ... also, I was reading in Scientific American where researchers had found that there was some potency to turmeric for cancer intervention, but was shown in rodents and an extrapolation of how much haldi would have to consumed on a daily basis by humans ended up being on the order of Kgs!!!

So let's get our facts straight before we jump off the deep end ...

First and foremost, even I don't agree to "improper conduct" in this scenario. simply bcos nothing happened between Abhi & Simi which falls under the "improper conduct" category.

I read each and everyones views, but I didn't find the answer to one of the points that iamindian is making.

Without taking sides I am trying to put what iamindian asked - She/He says, Simi or Abhi did not know that they were getting locked in the room, but when Simi knew she is locked with her boyfriend in a class room of an institution, then she was supposed to tell Mili what she did(locking her and her boyfriend in college) was wrong and asked her to unlock the door.

Iamindian, let me know if that was not what you meant, then others, forget this post.

My simple answer is, Simi in her mind, doesn't think she is doing anything wrong and hence she didn;t think of saying that to Mili. One doesn't always 24x7 don't keep thinking "what others will say". That is not normal according to me. Sometimes it is required to think ok, what others might say, but not like 24x7 and moreover that thought didn't occur to Simi at that time and neither to us, the viewers, that - "Oh! No, Simi is a lecturer of this prestigious college and oh she is getting locked in that room with her boyfriend and it is morally wrong for a lecturer of the college to be in this situation ... yada yada yada ..." I wonder how many us always think that we have to be prim and proper 24x7 and that thought is always running at the back of our minds for every action of us?!

What about Saif Ali Khan and his first wife (I can't remember her name), she was quite a bit older than him.

.And as for the issue of sexual compatibility, I thought men had problems as they got older too, hence Viagra? Women are perfectly capable of having a vibrant sexual life even in late age and why not? I think the notion that an older man is better off with a younger woman simply stems from male dominated societies because that is what men want, not because it is rooted in any kind of reality.

Why are we talking about the "moralness" of Simi and Abhi in a room, when there is so much else that is "immoral" in this show -- Manju treating her son as a God to the exception of her daughters as though they don't exist, insinuating that a woman in her thirties cannot be attractive or an asset to either her parents or a prospective husband. How is it ok for anita to move in with the sethis before marriage but not ok for the neighborhood to know simi is missing? I think the biggest "immorality" in this show is the fact that both Manju and RS are being irresponsible parents.
