Closest they came as being casted together was when Subhash Ghai finalised the two for his Trimurti, but that never happened. Dutt got involved in the TADA case and Ghai went ahead and signed Anil Kapoor for the role which Dutt was supposed to do. That 'Trimurti' proved to be a dud at box-office is another story but now reports are that Dutt and SRK may finally be seen together on screen. Reports are that Farah Khan has decided upon Dutt to play a major role in her next film titled 'Happy New Year', which already stars SRK and mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan . Not only that, reports add that Farah has also zeroed in on Zayed Khan for a role in 'Happy New Year'. It may be recalled that Zayed starred along with SRK in Farah's directorial debut the superhit Main Hoon Na . But now with Bachchan, Dutt, SRK and Zayed, Farah seems to have brought about a very interesting starcast for 'Happy New Year'. The search for the heroines is still on. |
