Rupali Guha the creative director of Uttaran is the daughter of the legendary Basu Chaterjee. While Basu da based most of his movies on real life issues of the Indian middle class and created realistic cinema I am very surprised(and shocked) that Rupali along with her producer husband Pintoo Guha has made such a mess of uttaran which had started out as a promising show.

In an interview to the times of India dated 18th December 2009 she says "It's all about giving the audiences what they want"

I am not sure what she shows in Uttaran is what anyone in the audience wants

ohhhhhhhhhh k so audience want veer and tapu together so that tapu will be changed hmmmm ok ............. bakwas ... use brain lady ... as u dont have one use mine

and how come she created such a wonderful character

named " NANI " 😆😆

does she know anybody of such a character ?
how come iccha never slapped nani and only veer ?
how come she shows such wonderful dream sequences which people get fooled as real ?
