One of the only two solo hits (the other being MUJHE KUCH KEHNA HAI) of Kareena Kapoor's 9-10 year career has been JAB WE MET, co-starring Shahid Kapoor. The film not only went on to become a blockbuster, it also won Kareena numerous awards and accolades for her heartwarming performance.

Naturally expectations from their latest film, Boney Kapoor's MILENGE MILENGE are high despite quite a few drawbacks. The most prominent being its delay in getting completed due to a number of reasons. When the film was underway it was quite a hot proposition with the real life couple Shahid and Kareena being together, but once the two fell out the film got caught in an imbroglio.

However, due to Boney's intervention and perseverance the film somehow managed to roll on. We had informed our patrons a long time back that Kareena and Shahid have, like true professionals, buried their hatchet and have taken out time from their super busy schedule and dubbed for their portions (Impediments removed Shahid-Kareena phir milenge -28th February, 2009) of the film. And as per our information, MILENGE MILENGE is in the mixing stage. But we are not here to rehash old news but to inform that the release date of MILENGE MILENGE has been finalized and has tentatively been scheduled for February 2010, most probably the 20th, six days after Valentines Day.

Here's hoping for a repeat of JAB WE MET magic from the pair.

After Kaminey and DBH, when Shahid was off to America and when I was SK starved, this promo came out and I was like OMGG I WANNA SEE THIS MOVIE! Now I see him like everyday because of Twitter and CPD stuff, so dont think I'm looking forward to it, but yes, I'll watch it forsure.

Still, it's a good thing it's releasing before his b'day.... that way he'll have one less thing to dread next year... so, if you look at it this way, it is a great present....

Who knows Riya. Maybe there'll end up being a huge hype around this movie due to its leading actors and will get people in bulk going for it rather than MNIK. 😆

You never know right? JWM did well despite having competition from OSO.

Now for the manhoof question, will they promote together? I want BS to explode again. MM promotions will leave Harman's interview behind.👍🏼
