Shahid Kapoor to tone down his muscular look and work on his body language for Mausam, which requires him to be young and innocent

Shahid Kapoor will soon have to get rid of those hard earned abs. He beefed up for Kaminey and Chance Pe Dance to get the bare-chested, rippling muscle look in place.

However, Shahid's forthcoming film, Mausam, will see him saying goodbye to his coveted physique.

Shahid will have to return to the boyish look he sported in Ishq Vishq and Jab We Met. In Mausam, he plays an inexperienced loverboy aged 21-22.

He has efficiently been oscillating between boyish to manly roles. He is going to take time off to work on his physique, so that it suits what is required of him in Mausam.

The film's producer Sheetal Talwar of Vistaar Religare Film Fund confirmed our story. She said, "I can't say much about Shahid's look right now. But his entire body language and physique will have to be worked on."

Our source added, "Shahid played a callow and inexperienced lover in Ishq Vishq and Fida. After Kaminey and Chance Pe Dance, Shahid plays a conman in a Yash Raj production. After that he needs to lose the sinewy muscular look to play the loverboy in Mausam."

Oh God. I am glad that he is willing to do all this for all of his roles... but damn, to work SO hard to get something and then lose it all, never knowing whether you will be able to get it back...

If I was an actress and I was told to gain 30 pounds for a role, I am not sure if I would because what if I couldn't lose it in the end...

But props to him for having the self confidence to lose them knowing that he will work and get them back when he needs them next.

HMMM wat caught my eye was that hez playing Shahid plays a conman in a Yash Raj production. HMM interestingg..never seen that before but wonder how can a cute looking guy will make it look like a con😳
and hez playing 21-22 yrs old guy that is INEXPERIENCED LOVER..oh boyy...m sooo looking forward to mausam..m sure he is gonna kill it no matter what..😛😛

I think he's gonna have two looks for the film. Inexperience and young lover at 22 and probably a much mature Shahid at 32. Apparently, the love story is set over a time period of 10 years. Lol, it would be different to see Shahid back in his JWM avatar, hey, I'm not complaining, I love Aditya Kashyap :P But yes, I hope they find a good actress for the movie. I have high hopes for the movie because Shahid says that this is his toughest role ever. Also, I love Paa's music, so Ilayaraja is gonna do great for Mausam too.

About the YRF movie, again I am sort of excited. One reason because its not based in Punjab! Phew. Recently Anupam Kher said that Parmeet is an excellent, orginal director. That was quite a shocker, lol. I had a feeling that either Shahid would be a big businessman or some conman in the movie. In one of the onset pics, he's sitting in a Porsche, so obviously he has to be rich. But then Anushka has said that its not a con movie, I don't know, YRF isnt revealing anything about the movie. I just hope both are amazing.
