But Madhuri Dixit is non-committal

The buzz around the film on Jawaharlal Nehru and Edwina Mountbatten might have died down after it got stalled, but Indira Gandhi's biopic is in the news again.

Madhuri Dixit is non-committal about signing on to play the former prime minister, but Hollwyood actors are being approached to play the other parts.

Telegraph.co.uk reports that the film, which will be in two parts, will have an international cast and crew, and a budget of 40 million.

The report says that actress "Helen Mirren is in talks to reprise her role as Queen Elizabeth II". Tom Hanks and Tommy Lee Jones have been approached to play Lyndon B Johnson and Richard Nixon respectively.

While British actress Emily Watson is in talks to play Margaret Thatcher, actor Albert Finney might play the role of Peter Ustinov.

The film will be shot in India, Russia, the UK and US from April 2010.
