okay so i have a few confessions to make....firstly this is the first thread of priya's that actually makes some sense. for the first time she has been able to make her point without getting personal and using obscentities. and i kind of do agree with her on some points.

Rumpa's Mom may have been watching all the episodes on TV for sure. She would have understood that to be blunt (Gurp's fav word) and forceful is the only way to get her point across to Gulabo. That's because Gulabo has a way of twisting other peoples words to her own advantage. So Rumpa's mom had to put her word in such a way that it could not be open to misinterpretation later.

she is right when she says that the majority of us just like rumpa's mom b/c she was giving it to hitty's momma. if she had been talking like that to any of the other mom's we would've been all over her. BUT then again, maybe rumpa's mom has seen the way hitty's mom relates to everyone else and has begun to have the same feelings and doubts about them like we all do.

secondly, the way she came across today made her seem to be a little "anpadh". her way of talking and raising her concerns..........however right they may be......was wrong.

i don't think she's confused....she said it before....she's doing this for her daughter only. if it was solely upto her than its gauranteed that she would have never accepted this proposal. right now i think she's hoping to talk some sense into that brainless daughter of hers.

I agree she could ahve presented herself much better...But, I think one of the reasons for her coming across so crude could also be language, we all just assume that she speaks good classy Hindi.. But its not her mother tongue.. Her terminologies may be off base. Happens sometimes to me:)
