EDIT---I had written the earlier paragraph before watching the episode..Now that I have watched it, I dont think 'that you gehna, jewellery" statement correctly😕 That was a legitimate question.

In Rumpa's mom's words "Mere se jo ho sake mein woh karoongee, gehna etc"...this she has said based on what she has observed with the Chauhans. They keep flaunting their richness in every opportunity that they get. 'Humare resorts hain, yada yada". Anyone would get intimidated when some one talks as if they own Chandigarh. Roy's are a humble family who havent talked about their richness etc. When a midle class girl goes to a rich family, obviously they will be concerned. I dont think she was wrong in bringing that up!
