...CM's demand that he marry the gal from Kota?

Ok, I didn't get a chance to post this earlier, but when Uday, the day after he failed to 'marry' Sudha in her office, had the conversation w/ his mom, she offered to let him marry Sudha, but asked that she be allowed to leave. Uday declined, and instead told her that he'd marry anybody she picked for him.

Did Uday do the right thing there? By agreeing to this, he put everyone else in the family, including Jyoti, squarely behind this, and they went to Kota and finalized the deal. So when it falls through due to his eloping w/ Sudha, wasn't some of the blame on him justified as a result?

Instead, should he have accepted CM's offer to let him marry Sudha, and let CM leave, so that not only would she not be a threat to Sudha, she'd stop being there to make Jyoti's life miserable? After all, when CM last took her vacation, Jyoti was breathing a lot easier, aside from the time that she was doing her best to get Sudha out of jail. So wouldn't Uday have done everyone a big favor by letting CM go? Also, Sudha would then have been smoothly accepted by the rest of the family - MN&G, Pratik & Pankaj.

Whaddya think?

i dont get it exactly, but im sure he was forced to say he'll marry anyone in order o make cm stay

what a babyush proposal cm had placed "marry sudha and i'll leave"

Yeah, but he should have gone ahead w/ it. It's not like CM will stay now - the only thing that's changed is that he's left the house w/ Sudha

I think it was wrong for him to get into any such proposal in the first place. Why didnt he just tell CM that fine, he wont marry Sudha... but then she cant expect him to marry anyone else for the rest of his life. But agreeing to marry the girl from Kota was wrong.
