Bandini i feel is still in its fledgling stage and in no position to be withdrawn as yet, an idea that some of the members appear to be distressed about.
You see, the whole serial is based on the situation dealing with a strange relationship between an older man and a younger woman and the rest of it is all about semantics. The situation demonstrates various changes in dynamics between people reacting to several stimuli be it verbal, tactile, visual etc.
The question that seems to reverberate within the forum is "why things have suddenly reached a snail's pace with regard to relationships".
The obvious answer to this is that the director needs to put his thoughts in perspective. All his characters have had to reckon with past issues. He is juggling these couples precariously perched at different stages in their relationship. The men are still holding candles for the women they loved previously.
DM-Santu : Are "married" more than once to one another for all practical purposes. But the dynamics between the couple is now teetering on the brink of immense physical awareness which was not in the reckoning for them till sometime ago. DM is giving Santu time to become aware of him as her mate and he will silently court her till she is ready. Ever heard of "silent fireworks"? Those are the more lethal kind.
Does anyone agree with me that the script is now being manipulated to allow three couples to simultaneously move forward in their relationship rather than moving each couple through a dedicated track and then phasing them out? Thus the tempo of the situation at hand, whether it is DM-Santu or Motiben-Kanji or Hiten-Toral will be slow. Kanji is now going to be around more (yum!) and Hiten is slowly realizing that what he feels for Toral is a tad more than just friendship.
Santudi is in total denial as she has just woken up to what is actually expected of her in a true marriage. She was just innocently playing "home and hearth with mummy and daddy" all this while.
"The proof of the pudding is in eating it"! Savour it slowly as the story unfolds at its pace. I think we can give Ekta that much credit. She wont let the viewers down as yet! (I HOPE!)
