If you don't, can you please explain the more about thalam? I know in Hindustani, the tala is based on the tala strcuture and theka, while in Carnatic, I know that the mridangam player doesn't play a theka, while there is a tala structure (like aadi thalam with 4+2+2 I think). If you can elaborate on that, I would be most grateful!
