Anupamaa: Vasundhara calls divorce the Shahs’ tradition, hands papers to Anupama

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Leela refuses to attend Mahi's haldi ceremony, expressing her disapproval. Pakhi explains that she skipped the mehendi function only because she didn't want to leave Ishani alone at home. Paritosh remarks that going to the Kothari mansion after all the recent conflicts would be unwise. Anupama, however, reminds everyone that though their opinions differ, it's important to be there for Mahi during this special occasion.

Leela criticises the Kotharis, calling them arrogant, but Anupama advises her not to behave the same way. She insists that the Shah family should rise above the bitterness and attend the haldi ceremony for Mahi's sake.

Raja and Pari’s Secret Meeting

Meanwhile, Pari requests Anupama to deliver a gift to Mahi on her behalf since she won't be attending. Just then, Raja arrives, calling out to Pari, leaving her startled. Anupama questions Raja about whether the Kotharis are aware of his visit. Rahi intervenes, revealing that Raja and Pari are in love and insisting that there's nothing wrong with them meeting.

Anupama cautions the two, explaining that if the Kotharis find out, they might once again misunderstand the situation. Leela supports Anupama's concern. Anupama advises Raja and Pari to give the Kotharis time to process their relationship. However, Raja insists that he cannot live without Pari and vows to return for her one day. Anupama warns Rahi not to take such risks lightly. Although Rahi argues that there's no harm in two people in love meeting, Anupama helps her understand the complications that could arise.

Vasundhara Grows Suspicious of Rahi and Raja

Back at the Kothari mansion, Vasundhara and Parag question Rahi and Raja about where they had gone. Rahi lies that they went shopping, which makes Vasundhara suspicious. Prem quickly steps in and fabricates a story to cover for them. Later, Vasundhara tells Parag that they need to make a firm decision regarding Raja and Pari's relationship. She confides that Meeta dislikes Pari and admits that she, too, doesn't want her in the family.

Prem later confronts Rahi for taking Raja to the Shah house despite knowing the risks. Rahi defends her decision, and the two share a moment of understanding. She tells Prem she knows he's under pressure. Prem thanks her for standing by him but abruptly ends the conversation, leaving Rahi thoughtful.

Shahs Attend Mahi and Gautam’s Haldi

The Shah family then arrives at Mahi and Gautam's haldi celebration. Vasundhara taunts them upon their arrival, but Leela gives her a sharp reply, refusing to be insulted. When Anupama offers shagun to Mahi, Vasundhara mocks the gift, calling it worthless. Leela retorts that Vasundhara is free to keep it or pass it along, as she often does. Despite the tension, both families proceed with the haldi rituals.

Rahi applies haldi to Gautam, angering Vasundhara. Rahi explains that it's a ritual meant to spread happiness, and there's no wrong way to perform it. Meanwhile, Mahi indirectly mocks Kinjal and Paritosh, saying that if Pari hadn't acted foolishly, she would have been part of the celebration too. Vasundhara sides with Mahi's statement, while Hasmuk quietly tells Anupama that the Kotharis clearly haven't forgiven Pari yet. Anupama imagines a scenario where she exposes Gautam's truth.

Anupama Senses Trouble Between Prem and Rahi

As the haldi celebration continues, the Shahs and Kotharis come together to dance. Anupama notices something off about Prem's behaviour and asks if everything is alright. Prem brushes off her concern and tells her to make Rahi understand that he is busy with work and doesn't want to be disturbed. His words deepen Anupama's suspicion that there might be problems brewing between Prem and Rahi.

Later, Prarthana confides in Anupama, admitting that she's worried about her own relationship with Ansh. She fears that their bond might weaken over time and asks Anupama to speak to him on her behalf.

In the precap of Anupamaa, during Mahi’s wedding, Anupama expresses her gratitude to the Kotharis for including Pari in the invitation and conveys her hope that they will give the young couple another chance. As the wedding rituals begin, Gautam and Mahi make their grand entry, but the atmosphere quickly changes when Ansh confronts Gautam. He exposes Gautam’s fraudulent activities in the company, leaving Gautam visibly shaken. Ansh declares that he will reveal the truth to Parag and expose Gautam’s real face in front of everyone.

At the same time, Anupama feels restless, sensing that something bad is about to happen. Moments later, Parag and Vasundhara hand her the divorce papers of Raja and Pari, leaving her completely speechless. Vasundhara, noticing Anupama’s stunned reaction, mocks her, implying that the Shah family is no stranger to such documents and sarcastically remarks that divorce has become their family’s tradition.
