~this show 👎🏼 is Really NOT anywhere near his standard level

~Shiamakji deserves to judge something like DID!!! His excellent critiquing abilities are being wasted here...

~Even the worst performances of DID were better than the ones in this DPL

~DID had "creativity" & a simpler format yet one that grabbed my attention eagerly to see the next performance

~DPL seems 2 be trying TOO hard to impress via this "Cricket Format" etc...and deeply fails in my eyez....perhaps cause i've seen a better show DID performances?!!

**No intent 2 hurt any feelingz, just HAD 2 say my feelings after having given few chances 2 this show since day 1---Apologies in advance**

ohh and I LOVE Rani as an actress, as a person---she's just Absolutely Awesome!!!! but the singing & I love you's performed for her are becoming SO tiring & repetitious now!!!

~the host everytime "same thing" of introducing her & as well as those few contestants acting out 4 her again n again....*yawn--still Luv Rani but gosh, i just can't sit thru this show no more--

--best wishes 2 them thou lolz

I toally agree with you, both posts. And they are purposely trying to create controversy (the pappu mallu thing seemed very orchestrated, Rani's christening the judges seemed very silly; they should have given blindfolds to both teams instead of creating an unwanted controversy), instead of focusing on dancing & performances. If the dancers get better, automatically they get better more healthy competition, therefore better controversies and then better TRPs (always seen in successful shows, like DID).

But you're absolutely right about Shiamak, he would have been much better in a role like Mithun's on DID, a pivotal role, in fact Mithun was so sexist.biased. Here the whole focus is on Rani and her movies and her songs. I really like Rani, but this show is about dance, not Rani.

I hope in the coming days the show gets more about dance, less about Rani and the artificial controversies/nautanki/wardrobe malfunctions/ and more about Shiamak helping it to reach its potential. Even the jhalak show was much better, although they're only supposed to be celebrities, not even professional dancers...

rani gets to give points and add 1 point or 2 points on aswell, which i think is a bit unfair, because shaimak doesn't do much, atleast now they ask him if the choregraphers point are fair or not but it would be better if rani gives points and then shiamak can add +1 or +2. i hope you can understand my idea its hard to explain it interms of words! lol

just my opnion no offence to anyone.

I don't think Mithun was sexist at all, he gave his trump card to save a girl and he always encouraged and brought out the best in the contestants.

I dont think Mithun was sexist at all. he gave his only trump card away to save a girl and always encouraged the contestants and girls and brought out the best in them

I'm sorry, I meant to say quite that - that Mithun was only interested in the Khushboo/bhavana sisters than in true talent like Mayuresh, he should have saved Mayuresh. Overall, I think he started out very good, and then ignored all of Remo's game playing and made a lot of fun of Terence etc. I think Shiamak with his dance talent and being a wonderful human being would have been excellent in a similar position. Rani's doing a great job, but I would rather they focus on the dance in the show than on Rani. DID dances were far superior. All of Shiamak's efforts to increase the dance levels are going to waste. No one gives him attention. If he had more power (in terms of marks or even comments) he could raise the level...

I 200% agree w/ u forems:

~if anyone watched that episode properly, Mithunji (who i do respect) spoke up & walked away at the END when Khusboo was announced
~very early on they had ALL girls lined up for elimination--i would genuinely have believed his intent had he spoken up before ANY FEMALE was announced! That woulda made sense...because once all said and done it DOES bring doubts to any sane person whether he woulda done the same if it was ALisha (who's clearly more talented---but if it was about talent then Mayuresh shoulda been saved by his veto in the earlier elimination And if it was about unjustice against females then he shoulda stood/spoken up and said his piece BEFORE any name said of a specific female because they were all females lined up!!!!!!

~ i'd rewatched the entire episode specifically to analyze expressions & words---as i did w/ undivided attention in other episodes and MOSt Definately i have 2 agree w/ what FOREMS stated---THERE WAS DEFINATELY A BIAST ON MITHUNDA'S SIDE CLEARLY!!! Pehraps it's required in the politics as even the Show had their star picked out from the beginning--the way Salman was shown in his talent (which he did have of course but i liked Jay Mayuresh Alisha performances by their talents of higher levels) they showed Salman's patriotic side w/ indian flag, then his sensitive side w/ his mom & song of kabhi khusi kabhi gham while some contestants like Jai from Toli were made fun of----->there was clearly an agenda and idiot can see that.

However, that show did have talent!!! and all of their 3 judges here and there gave some MindBlowing Creative Performances!!

As ultimate GrandMaster---the contestants and judges deserved 2 look up 2 a more deserving person in that position!! example Shiamakji was PERFECT!! Mithunji himself said at points--"I dont know much about this dance etc..." and would just say few positive or negative words and phrases (as he was required to say something) just to get it over with---as GrandMaster his position requires his statements & evaluations of remarks & improvements to be ABOVE THE OTHER THREE JUDGES but clearly he lacked knowledge to carry out that duty----again, he's a great person and was funny etc...but lacked the requirements for that position greatly!!---and i say this w/ still the Upmost respect for him because growing up I LOVED him as an actor:-)

All i want to say is that the dancing in this show needs to go like 200% its a dance show and i hardly see any really good dancing its all average or below i mean they went all around india and these are the people they could find i wonder where DID went because they some really exceptional dancers it was amazing watching them i still watch some of the performances from that show they were that good. This show either needs to get better dancers or choreographers i mean come on the only people that seem to be trying something new and also doing a good job are the Western Yudhas im all for them to win this show because they are the only ones who seem to be really together as a team and also trying new things. Im really disapointed in Nagindra when you have a brother like Prabo Deva you could atleast learn something from him. But i just think this show has not lived up to its hipe it could do so much better and i think they should give Shamik a better role like scroing hes so wasted. BETTER DANCING REQUIRED FOR THE SHOW TO REALLY WORK

PEACE
