Well Ajanabii's its been an interesting week. Veer apologized to Ayeesha for accusing her of thievery last week and they had an eye lock moment where Veer showed a jhalak of his vulnerable side. Veer's found his bhai in Shimla only to discover that he's passed away along with his wife some two years back. Ayeesha meanwhile played de joker and let kids throw balloons at her just so she could earn the deposit for Nihaal's boarding school. Ayeesha and Raj had some bonding moments (1) where he stood up for the cleaner & gave him pastries 2) and he unsuccessfully tried to quiet a baby at the baacha party. Yesterday he even told off Minnie because she was deriding Ayeesha's decision to become de "joker" at the baacha party. Ohh yeah some detective seems to be watching Veer in shimla as he goes through his bhai's bangla...
- Veer appears very vulnerable and tender as he looks one last time at the Bangla before driving off. The quiet poignancy of the moment is touching. We learn the shadowing figure does not want Veer to learn about Nihaal and hopes to kidnap Nihaal before Veer learns about him and finds him Parmindar accuses Ayeesha of doing the "joker" job just for money. Ayeesha defends herself with a touch of indignation and makes it clear that she is doing this for Nihaal ? to earn the money ($5,000) for his boarding school deposit.
- She showers and looks in the mirror that's in her locker. As she looks she remembers the humiliation of dressing as a clown while children threw water balloons at her. She touches the reddening skin then remembers Pammi's taunts about Nihaal going hungry half the time. In one hand she holds the mirror and in the other the money and promises to do right by Nihaal.
- Raj comes to the locker room to check that Minnie gave Ayeesha the 5000 Rupees. He sees that she is upset as she is wiping her tears still. They bond as he tells her that (1) Minnie does not trust anyone including herself 2) that no job is too small and that he worked as waiter during college 3) they discover they are neighbours ? she's from Shimla and he's grew up nearby. 4) Ayeesha asks for off so she can enroll Nihaal in Boarding school and Raj agrees to give her the whole day and inform Minnie of it. Veer is shown at the police station. He appears very vulnerable as he speaks to the inspector. The Inspector explains that he's just transferred recently, so he does not know much about how Veer's bhaiyya died except that both he and his wife died in a car accident with a truck. Veer leaves upset and thinking that his bhabhi's family claimed the bodies but, didn't even bother to inform Veer's family. Just after he leaves a constable tells the inspector that the bodies were claimed by Jai's saali and son. The inspectors tells him to try and catch Veer and tell him this. Alas, the constable misses Veer as he drives of by mere moments.
- Nihaal explains to Ayeesha (who's getting ready to go to the boarding school) that he has two dayz off and he wants to go to the aquarium, beach, etc. And also that she is the best maasi and he's never leave his maasi. Ayeesha feels guiltyL
- Veer's sister comes to the hotel because Veer didn't go home last night while his secretary is speaking with Veer on the phone. The sister has a misunderstanding and leaves thinking that soon both her bhais will be back home together. Minnie questions Parminder about Ayeesha's whereabouts and scolds her. Raj intervenes and firmly explains that he's given Ayeesha the day off.
- Ayeesha visits the school and realizes that the rules will be harsh for Nihaal but, feels she has no other choice. She remembers her sister and thinks she has let her sister down.
Next Week
1. Nihaal overhears Ayeesha discussing the boarding school with Parminder and decides he's not going to leave his maasi. He jumps out the window and is running just as a car is coming? looks like its Veer's car?
