...of course we needed a show like this..I mean so many people are so damn quick to judge that a autistic person is pagal .Nobody knows the abilites that an autistic child has. People do not understand the day to day experience the parents of autisitc parents have to go through. I think it was very necessary for this show to be broadcasted ESP INDIAN TV!! i mean indians are def the most uneducated about this disorder because they just think of it as being mental. My aunt who was autisitic was never diagnosed with autsm till she was 45 because people thought she was just mentally retarded. What her talents were noone could see becuase they just thought she was retarded. Indians have such a narrow mind about certain things and this show was very much necessary for people to understand that autistic people are in fact very beautiful people and have many beautiful talents and this is very much shown in this show.

this show is required , but i doubt its required on indian Television...Cause people are here so much attached to soapy stuff they just cant understand...I like the story, i like the character they seems so real...They are not like soap star who r always good or bad...this thing is never happend in life , nobody can b totaly positive and negative...they are some time positive some time negative, and this show Aapki Aantara , present all the character in this way...
so guys dont worry abt d indian television, you are far ahead of their reach...think u r doing this show for international market...May be after 8 or 10 Years these guys are going to realize what they missed...
all d best and keep on doing best work...think global your story is very noble

yah its not required..i agree with u on that..bt im glad that they broadcasted it..not only has it taught so many people in india..bt it has taught so many indians living in america. I always knew what autism was..bt i never knew the depths of autism. I really am glad this show came on because now i understand it so much more and understand that this is something that can not be seen as someone being mental bt someone being a gift from god that needs extra special attention. I just hope this show keeps on doing a great job

I am curious to know why you are asking the question, Monish.😊

Autism is on the rise, and will affect more and more families. Given that there is no cure, why shouldn't it interest people to know how it affects a family?

I do wonder, though, why Antara had to be the child of an extramarital affair. That part always seemed too melodramatic to me, but I guess the writers had to underscore her outsider status.

Mahika.

I was wondering why this question was asked as well.

i believe the producer has to make it in this way[ bit melodramic ], otherwise no body would watch it...and as far the question is arise abt d show needed or not... i beleive , Antara is not doing well , now a days its not on top ten slot...That mean people are not watching it...And if they wont watch then channel is going to say bye bye to aapki antara...
Yeh hai mera india ---jahan Acche kaam ki kadra nahin hoti...Bure ki burayi hoti hai , magar dekhna bhi sabko vohe hai...

My question to you Monish is also the same: Why this question? Are you guys doubting your initial hunch due to TRPs or some such reason? I do hope not because you have made people like me who also live in India so happy because at last I have something meaningful which does not hurt my intellect or my sensibilities to look forward to and much much more important than that, you are doing a tremendous job in raising awareness. PLEASE Monish never ever give up. So natural the acting is, so wonderful. THANKS THANKS and once more a very very big THANKS
Padma
