Hey Monish, u seem 2 b demoralized due 2 not so good trps.
But dude, u should understand that this show is 4 intelligent audience like working women n the age-group of 10-45 yrs.Old ladies who r round d clock glued 2 the tv prefer watching stupid shows like Balika Vadhu, Laado n Chhoti Bahu.
Believe me this show is a relief 4 the viewers like me who like 2 watch only sensible stuff.
We need aap ki Antara but we don't need Pavitra Rishta, Agle Janam, Balika Vadhu, Laado, Yeh Rishta e,Chotti Bahu.
Cheer up dear, ur show rocks👏👏👏
The show concept is amazing, actors are fabulous n I conclude that for the mental growth of Indian audience, we desperately need a story like "Aapki Antara".
Keep up d good work
God grace will fall on u.👏 👏

Why are you asking this frightening question? If you as a producer/writer asks it, what is to happen to a loyal audience like us? I agree its a niche audience which is broken into three different groups.
a] those who love stories woven around children
b] those who are intrigued by this new subject called autism
c] those who are connected with children of special needs
d] those comprising of all three of the above or some other reason.
If you are asking this question to guage audience reaction, you've got the green signal. AKA has been in the top bracket since it has started. However, melodrama will pull it down. Unnecessary details of Arti's wedding and bringing in thugs I felt were ......
But the show is needed. It is creating good awareness and will educate that section of people who want to know about autism. Who knows.... through word by mouth the audience may grow? It is helping to connect people who are less fortunate with the ones who are luckier. Maybe the gap between knowledge and ignorance (about autism) will lessen?
Please persevere in your endeavour to not just entertain but also educate the masses. You are helping the little autistic kids in some way.
May you succeed in this venture. I congratulate you and Zee TV for being bold enough to take up work of this kind........... 👏 👏 👏 👍🏼

Thank god for that Monish. You sure freaked me out. And I do not fall into any of skep's categories hehe maybe the 4th but I must read it again to be sure. I just like good concepts, natural narratives and good acting skills and works of art which have a serious goal always attract me if executed deftly.
You have done all that except for a few slightly melodramatic sequences, well not too many honestly. Hats off to you guys. I would be proud to be associated in one way or other with a show like this.
As for publicity of the word-of-mouth variety, all my students know that I watch Aap ki Antara (my students are aged 18-80) and I have made it a point to talk to them abt it and many of them have started watching it. Well I did my little bit and I am sure most of us have done our little bits because it honestly deserves it and much more.
So once again, why this question Monish?
Did you want to just get the committed viewer's feedback? But why ask us if we really need a story like antara given that we are committed to the show????
Still confused. 😕

You are right, its better than anything else at 8.30 (TRP - wise). I would say it's better than anything else at any time. (Quality-wise)

Oh, my bad, I didn't realize you are from the show....😳

Yes, please, we need this story very badly. As a mother to an autistic child, and also to another child who is the sibling, I feel like I am watching our life when I watch this show. God does not give everyone a chance to make something this meaningful; many planets must have aligned for your show to have taken off, and we are grateful for it, and loving it.

All the best!

Mahika.

Echoing Mahika (yet again 😃), I entirely agree with her on this. I also have a child on the Autism spectrum, and it is a show that I look forward to watching every evening that it is on! I really identify with the show in watching what parents of these little angels experience on a daily basis. Most people in India have absolutely NO idea what we go through trying to help our kids interact and learn things that come naturally to "typical" children... also in my experience people in India have absolutely NO idea what Autism is, and whenever I try to explain what the disorder is, I am met with blank stares. A show like this is ground breaking and is truly needed on T.V. these days especially with the all the usual drivel about wife's/family troubles that is a constant and very repetitive part of Indain T.V.
Thanks for making this show and I really hope and pray you continue to do so!

I wonder why u asked this question then Monish if nt fr TRP's😕
The show has found an audience..and is largely providing an awareness between autism and a mentally retarded person...😳
The audience who like to watch quality and really a different story will vouch fr this show always...😳
U and ur team has done an amazing job so far..and we hope to see the story educating more abt Autism even if it goes fr leap..😳😳
