Well my answer is yaah we absolutely need this such shows and HECK YAAH SPECIALLY IN ALL THESE ASIAN MINDSETS!!!⭐️

we need to educate the masses all the while making sure not to preach..and its not an easy job and kudos to AKA team for such a brilliant output!!!👏👏👏

well i for one should give the credit for Zynah n Zynah alone for making me interested in the show..her innocent eyes in the promos was what beckoned me to it..and once i started watching i began to appreciate every other character in it..there r no black n white roles in it
its life at its normal sphere..no larger than life characters..at the very beginning i appreciated showing a working woman with a simple job like teaching ..it was such a refreshing thing for me indian shows..and the concept of how acceptance of an extra-marital affair(all the while making sure to emphasize n the wrong in it) and how an innocent child is not punished warmed my heart even more to this show.😳

also one more thing is though i started this cz of Zynah it was the storyline the narration itself which captured my attention and till now kept me hooked with the show..
and for the first time in my life im hooked in to a show based on the storyline and NOT due to a specific actor or actress..and for this two thumbs up to all of u people who made this wonderful show possible!👍🏼

now coming back to the show..there were some short comings..well it was in a way overhyped regarding the thugs and borrowing money from everywhere..i mean taking a loan was totally acceptable. and then even if aditya borrowed money from the thugs as no big shadi celebration happened it felt unnecessary to show that aditya getting in trouble at that front..also aditya losing his job, and once way before some man stealing adiya's bag.. well these such petty things when all COMBINED together sometimes managed to put me off..one or two things would have been totally ok..but too much of that melodrama makes one feel a bit too much..

BUT STILL ITS A vast improvement to wt we usually see on TV..and certainly unlike glorifying a retarded social issue like in balika vadhu, agle janam etc.. here u show how we can overcome it!its just brilliant storytelling!👏

but other than that.. u have got a brilliant cast and a wonderful storyline to back u up!keep up the wonderful work.,,

and one request is when u take the leap can u try to keep the kids back atleast raj and zynah may be as vidya's to be daughter and arati-sam's son...

cz basically though the storyline is very strong on its own its also true that these kids do hold a majority of our interest..so it'll be good for the show to have them atleast in less central roles..

I was mulling over Monish's question today and came up with one more reason why a show like this is so amazing:

Children with developmental disabilities seem to get left behind in many ways, while their peers move on and up. It can be a lonely life for the parents--the autistic child's achievements are awe-inspiring, and we work hard to get there, but they are few and far between. In the meantime, we don't get to see our kids do the things which their peers do, such as go to the movies, eat out regularly without incident, tell funny jokes with that crazy humour which most kids have, or even tell us they love us. We see the best in our autistic kids, but let's be honest--we secretly wipe away a tear and tell ourselves tomorrow will be better.

So heck yeah! we need a show like this to highlight how isolating developmental issues can be. Bring it out in the open, help people to develop compassion, and fill people with useful information.👏

In simple words it's not just an entertaining program but a great help to the families with autistic kids, they have taken a sigh of relief that it is not something to be ashamed of & that their kids can also be a part of the society like any other normal kid. So hats off to the those who thought about it & brought this in the limelight.

You need it on Indian television and we need it here too in the US. I have Zee TV as part of my Dish package. But I know so many others who don't even know these channels exist. There are so many autisic parents out there who would die for a show like this on American TV. One of my friends has a son who is autistic. Not only would a show like Antara be important to her, but it would help more of our friends to REALLY understand what she and her husband go through. Please don't underestimate this gem of a program. Whoever thought of putting it on air is innovative. I enjoy this show and the fact that Ahbi and Billu just see Antara, not Autistic Antara.

why do u ask monish? 😲strangely even i was thinking the other day why make a show like AKA? what purpose is it serving? after watching this if any parent finds out their child is autistic they might freak out given the huge burden of problems on aditya and vidya. but then soon i found an answer to my own question...yes a show like this is important because it has created awareness. antara and her family are fictious but autism is a real problem faced by real ppl and their families. and now thanks to the show the general public who were ignorant abt autism will be more sensityive towards autistic kids and their families. so hopefully incidents like antara's neighbours refusing to give up their diwali fun for antara's comfort might become a rarity thus moving towards a better society. so ur actually doing a service to the society and pls continue the good work.
