Do we give actors too much importance like Gods !!

Lets discuss on this topic friends !! Do we give too much importance to the actors/actress these days and instead of treating them like any other human being treat them Gods !! Thats why we have so much problem in discussing this issue on the I-F !! I do understand everyone have fan following but do they really deserve any importance that they donot even would give us a second glace if they see us on the road !! Some of them have attitude that they are VIPs. Act in one movie become Celebs !! No bashing please !! Your kind comments are welcome Guys !!

well i dont see them as god only a operson i look upto .. fx salman khan never seen a person like him.. but i dotn see him as god.

for me allah is the only i see upto ..

Yes, I believe people do treat stars as gods. When I first joined this forum last year I did not realize how big of a following Ms. Rai had. So, I criticized her lack of personal style in one of the threads and lo and behold I got two hate mails consecutively from a member I'd never heard of before. If that does not show fanaticism I don't know what does.

someone sent me really disgusting mails..

I think its the same "Aishwarya lover Salman hater" person. I remember getting another hatemail for praising Freida Pinto in a totally Aishwarya non-related thread. According to Ms. Rai loving troll, FP was and I quote: "too much of a daasi and no where near maharani Rai". Its funny with these strange Ash loving trolls because they'll bash anyone (IF member or celebrity) thats pitted against Aishwarya in media even if that said celebrity/member and Aishwarya have no connection. Yup....some people are crazyyyy aliright....but I digress.

P:S Sallufan: I'm not sure why anyone would bash you, you only praise Salman, I've never seen you bash members or other celebs on here. But kya kare strange are the ways of fanatics. 😆

Yeah some people treat like them Gods and I really don't agree..

No one can be compared to GOD!

They are just human beings who acts in films..Everyone can do that!

There's some actors I respect and I look upto them but not treat them like God !!

Some people do get fanatical with their star-worship and Sallufan you are definitely not one of them. And like Flaviya I can't believe you got hate mail.

I have neither received nor sent hate mail on IF thus far. So I haven't witnessed that degree of fanaticism first-hand but I have heard some stories.

So what was I trying to say...🤔 ... I guess some people do treat their favourites like Gods. But a lot of people don't.
