What did you Learn from bollywood

I know all of us here are multicultural and come from different backgrounds so we might not be aware of desi culture and might have learnt a thing or two from our sparkly Bollywood in terms of desi culture, traditions, different languages.. Even people living in India are pretty multicultural and find out about some traditions and stuff from bollywood.. So is there anything that Bollywood taught you?? Any funny stories to share.. cute stories bhi chalengee...😛 😊

for me watching .. the family oriental movies.. its show the festivals.. and how a big family lives together and all

and some movies do also have message..

i love these kinda movies

^^ I agree with you.. Most of us these days live in Nuclear families and its interesting to see how big families live together and celebrate stuff.

nothing for me soo far. i knew everything they show in the movies joint fam festivals luv shuv n all that only exist in movies.

I think Bollywood has taught me to recognize melodrama in real life...whenever someone acts like Jaya Bachchan in K3G or some bf/gf says "I will die if you leave me" or gets offended like Amitabh Bachchan in Baghbaan when his son says "Dad you won't understand my work" etc etc. I have learnt to see these and shut people up immediately by pointing out "stop acting like people in bollywood movies". Saves you a lot of rona dhona! Phew!

As Jlo's song says " DONT be fooled by the rocks that I got I am still I am still Jenny from the block ....... I know where I came from" I love Bollywood.. It makes me smile every morning.. It taught me how to do Naagin dance Sri devi eshtyle.. It taught me how to be goofey like Amar and Prem with their Uui maas and Hailas.. It taught me how to sing in high pitched voice.. My first love Srk works in bolly.. Yeh kaali kaali aankhe. I have learnt some Marathi from hindi movies which are set in Mumbai.. and some bhai eshtyle tapori bhasha also.. which I find very intriguing.. "Aye Halkat.. Khajoor" It taught me how to think about everything else in lectures but the course material.. with the song Pehla Nasha.. Pehla khumaar.. beautiful song.. Haiiii.. And many many other very sweet memories..
