Salman in Delhi to launch Being Human Coins-PICS

When Salman Khan came to town recently for a Gitanjali event, he sent the journos into a tizzy

But the man himself maintained his cool. And as he posed, smile and gelled hair in place, someone in the crowd of journos interspersed with chachas and tais of the organisers and boyfriends of the many young girls who'd congregated there to click Sallu, said loudly, "Kitna handsome hai!"

This made Sallu wave to the crowd – just a tiny wave, a barely there movement of his raised hands and everyone collectively sighed and some even clapped! This sure must've made Sallu feel like God and put him in a good mood, for soon, he began to crack jokes and give smart rejoinders to the questions posed to him.

Since he had come to announce the Gitanjali gold coins' association with his charity, Being Human, talk veered towards sona, and jewellery. "Aap sona khareedenge is Diwali par,"someone asked him. "Definitely. Yeh toh sona hai, agar aap ko chain ki neend sona hoi toh isey le lo," said Sallu. And who would you want to gift jewellery to, yet another journo asked him. Sallu didn't get caught in this one. "Mother, sister..." he paused, "aur kisey," he was prompted. That made Sallu smile and say, "girlfriend ko hi dete hai..." Smart boy, this Khan!
