ritika24, I haven't seen that episode as yet as it would be telecast in the UK tomorrow. But going by today's episode, I can say one thing that Ismail Darbar did seem disturbed right from the begining as he jolly well knew that Nihira would be out today. The little tussle between him and AS was also unnecessary as AS had not made any insinuation about ID. I think he was truly out of sorts today. The episode however did not capture the emotions in depth - obviously because we have been shown the edited version.

Nihira is such a pristine and pure person, that no one can be pretentious with her. One thing which we have to grant ID is that he has been pretty genuine in his praise and comments about each of the candidates (maybe sometimes too forthcoming about other contestants more than his own).

I think that he could not digest the fact that Nihira could be out so easily hence he seemed more in a state of shock (numbness). Maybe somewhere he does realize that the audience is a big sucker for promotional gimmicks. At the same time he like most of us believes that true talent will shine like a lumninous star. That's why he was quick to point this out to Nihira - You will shine and succeed with the help of god - forget people (they are ignorant and have no idea about music).

Nihira's exit from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been biggest shock . She accepted the people's verdict with dignity. She has been excellent in every episode. She accepted her exit with grace and created a ever lasting position in the mind of everybody. She will become the voice of India although she could not win this competition.

Shes from a cultured family and culture.. not from an uncultured family..

sree sree, I am here in the UK only. Just been busy at work. I do visit the forum every now and then but after our darling Nihira's ouster, show mein woh baat nahin hai. Now i am off to India next weekend for 3 weeks.

Have been watching the show on and off after my husband got the Zee connection restored. Today I saw the qawalli round. Actually I did like the qawalli rendition by Debo. Thought it was tough. Only thing is that he ate up some words in the begining, perhaps because of the frequent change of pace in the song. Believe, it is one of the most difficult compositions in qawalli by Rafi and Manna Dey.
