Actually, she has two grandslam doubles titles, and three runner up grandslams. I actually feel that in modern womens game, she and Hingis had the potential to beat the domination of the Williams. When the four were teen sensations in the late nineties, Kournikova and Hingis were touted to be the next best things. Venus and Serena had brute power, but not the technique and placement of the other two

Unfortunately, both Kournikova and Hingis crumbled under the pressure and lost focus. Success went to their heads and they were seduced by the glamor of popularity. To make it worse they succumbed to injuries and their career went down the drains.

Sometimes I still hope that the two lovely ladies will once again come back together and show us some real tennis and defeat the two beasts who are making a mockery of tennis with their grunts and tantrums. Yeah, I am very bitter towards the Williams sisters. Womens tennis is now a gorilla power game instead of classy and ladylike.
