of course love overcomes all shortcomings but does a girl ever say I want to marry a beggar of the street. They are saying it on tv but don't regular people say it everyother day? I want a husband with bright future, money etc etc.

For a guy he looks for a girl who can take of his house and family. People don't nitpick this statement. It's natural for a girl to look for a guy who can provide for her, take care of her, she needs to know she will find stability. And in today's day money is very very important for that stability. Being even middle class is not good enough. If a girl needs to be pampered, and she says she needs money there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I never married for money..Me and my husband both struggled as graduate students in US. We both built our home with our money. The only thing both of us have is education. And for me nothing was more important than education and character. I didnt expect my husband to be rich coz i know with a good and solid education, we can make our own money. Earning money is not a guy;s prerogative anymoreš i would expect that from my husband if i did not trust my potentials adequately. Just my POVš

Totally agree! š But a girl who doesn't want to lift a finger and wants to be treated like a princess wouldn't want to live like that, the struggle and all. š
