Bipasha will use the 'F' word no matter what!

Swear words are 'in' now. Director Sudipto Chattopadhyay didn't want the Censor Board chopping off the part where Bipasha Basu says the 'F' word in the film Pankh, even if it meant the film would get an A certificate.

Bipasha says the word twice in the film and Sudipto was very sure that he didn't want the Board either deleting the word or beeping it.

Some of the other characters in the film use foul language too, but those parts have been beeped. He just didn't want Bipasha's part to get deleted because in that scene she has a fight with Maradona, whom she stars opposite.

She supports as well as opposes him in the film. The dialogue is apparently relevant in the film.

I do not get why film makers edit stuff just for the certificate what is the big deal ...

Swearing being used in the movies has started to get beyond the limit !! Who can forget Omkara or Gulaal or many other movies !! Do we really need these "F" words or any other swearing words in Punjabi or hindi !! I donot think so !! What is your opinion friends please reply below !! we will appreciate !!😒

who really gives? sometimes swearing is necessary to build a character....but whats the big deal? its really beyond me...people act as if they've never sworn in their lives........oh my virgin ears......bull

It's just a film! I don;t get it, like someone mentioned at times, you just need a certain character to say/act in a certain way, simply because they're character is written like that. It's just entertainment, there's much worse stuff that has been seen in bollywood movies that never got censored, and here we're always fussing about swearing.

I think a lot of people in the censor board would like to believe that India is full of prudes. I think I have heard a lot worse and more swear words being said on the streets in Delhi, than I have ever heard in a film.

Omkara needed that language if it was going to look authentic.
