Why watch movies?

I will admit I do like shredding films to pieces. But I also watch them for the same reason I read books, or go to plays or dance performances. When I like a film I feel like I am getting to see emotions/places/people I would never see/meet otherwise.

When I don't like the film I see, I get some perverse pleasure from ripping it apart. Some films that have helped me do that in recent times: Kambakht Ishq, Life Partner, New York, Fashion.

There are many people in this world who cannot afford to go to Paris, Swtizerland and many beautiful locations but can see them through the big screen along with a fantastic story to enlighten them.

It provides happiness to some who has a bad day, inspires some and also at the same time it brings colour in a person's life and keeps us company whenever we face boredom.

It's also a fantastic way for people to get closer.

The only thing good in the film for me was the performance of the three girls. Apart from that I think it is a bad film. I don't want to turn this topic to why I hated Fashion - so I am going to leave it at that.
