I was thinking.. if it is about getting away from reality, then why do we not find mindless movies fun?

So why do you like watching movies?

Umm Ummm Ummmm! I watch movies for comedy.. I love watching Masala movie..lolz! But now more than movies.. I am addicted to Youtube.. So whenever in an assignment I cant solve a hard math question then I start watching videos.. I have seen that students watch a lot of movies to get away from stress of studies!

@adios, I agree about youtube. It is addictive; I wish it wasn't. Would do a lot better in school. LOL.

I actually watch movies to be entertained and also be enlightened by someone of the thought provoking ones....but in BW I watch movies and TV serials because I can stop focusing on the logical world and take in the fictitious world of masala movies and saas bahu sagas and knowing and thanking God that my life is better than the ones people show in the movies

because movies can completely take you into a alternate universe and you can forget your problems for some time and have fun and relax i usually watch fun films to relax and when iam in a good mood i watch serious films.

hmm interesting question......well i watch movies primarily to be entertained. But the kind of movies i like depends a lot on my mood.....so yes i do enjoy the odd mindless comedy too.

I like stories in general especially happy ones and ones with emotion...it depends on my mood what movie i watch. I like some comedies not alot of them though because i do not like slapstick humour..i guess its down to your personality.
