What's in a name? A lot, if you ask filmmakers. The title of a film plays a very important part in setting the mood of the film much before it releases. The latest buzz is that the director and the producer of Yash Raj Films' untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are at loggerheads over the film's title.
Our source says, "Director Parmeet Sethi has proposed two names for the film, 'Right Hand Man' and 'Friends and Company'. However, producer Aditya Chopra isn't keen on either of the two tiles suggested by Parmeet. Everybody on the sets of the film knows of the numerous disagreements between the two over the forthcoming film's title."
Parmeet, who is directing a film for the first time, confirms that the title of the film is yet to be decided and says, "There might be a difference of opinion, but hey, there are no battles at YRF over it. Now, Aditya and I have decided to not take any decision as far as the title is concerned till we finish shooting for the film. I do have a few titles in mind but I will first finish shooting the songs. Only then will we decide on the title. For now, we refer to the film as YRF's Production No 36."
While the first two shooting schedules of the film are complete, the third one will begin next month in the US.
