Mumbai: Barely two weeks days before the film hits theatres, Vishal Bhardwaj has changed the climax of Kaminey by going ahead and shooting a special song that will now be used during the end of the film instead of the background score that was originally planned.
A source close to the development says, "Vishal constantly thinks of how he can better his movie and he suddenly came up with the idea of changing the ending. This scene will have the twins (played by Shahid Kapoor) unite after their mutual hatred had torn them apart and both had chosen their own paths. This scene sees the problems of their lives vanishing and does not have any dialogue. A background score was planned for this scene which has been dropped by Vishal now."
The insider adds, "A new song sung by various artistes whose lyrics are Rasta Hai Jo Zindagi Ka Phanda Hai Jo Katana Nahi has been recorded and Vishal has already fitted it into the film. The censor board has been shown the film with this new ending. Vishal thought since the climax has a meaningful ending, a meaningful song rather than just a score would be more appropriate."
Confirms Vinod Bhanushali, President Marketing and Promotions, T-Series, "A new track has been added to Kaminey. It's picturised during the climax."
