I know!! Many people have done it. But in movies ka "time" ab aaya hai.
RGV's Sarkaar, Kashyap's cult Gangs of Wasseypur, Abhay used to do a lot of Indie films like this back in the day Oye Lucky, Ek Chaalis ki last local etc.
See what Dhar & Vanga have done is nothing New. It's the Tarantino style of filmmaking. But it's finally found it's audience in India. Bharadwaj has also been highly inspired by Tarantino in the past, but with this one he's going completely in. It will work because for the Indian audience it's all new and they're lapping it up.
Quentin Tarantino's filmmaking style isn't one single term but is known as "Tarantinoesque," characterized by nonlinear narratives, pop culture-infused witty dialogue, homage-filled genre blending, stylized violence, distinctive soundtracks, and unique camera techniques such as crash zooms and trunk shots, creating a unique, energetic, and often playful cinematic world.
