Thanks so much Sonali and Bhavna........Glad something about Susu got you in splits Bhavna........ I've actually had enough of her and will try to show AN far away from her if possible in my next scene.

SCENE 9

This is a scene I visualise after Abhi and Nikki confess their love in Rajashthan and are back at Sanjeevani.

PART I
Nikki and Riddhima are alone in the locker room and Ridz tells Nikki about Armaan's partial amnesia. Nikki is shocked to hear that Armaan has forgotten everything about the past 2 years and that he has even forgotten Riddhima. Seeing Riddhima in tears, Nikki hugs her and tries to console her. After few minutes they hear Armaan's singing and Ridz whose face is damp with tears says nervously " I don't want Armaan to see me like this, I need to hide somewhere. Saying this she runs inside the inner room leaving a baffled Nikki to face Armaan. In the meanwhile Dr. Shashank is also briefing Abhimanyu about Armaan's condition. After Dr. Shashank leaves, Abhi thinks he should tell Nikki about it and goes in search of her. He is about to enter the locker room but sees Nikki with Armaan and hides himself behind the door.

Seeing Nikki Armaan lets out a big "Hey Nikki" and hugs her happily. He tells her he never knew she too was part of Sanjeevani and so happy to see her there. Nikki smiles awkwardly and Armaan says "what happened ? aren't you happy to see me ?" Nikki says "Of course I am Armaan!" Armaan says "Then give me a nice hug!" Nikki hugs him. Still Hugging her Armaan says "Thank God you are around otherwise I will go mad in this place!" Moving away from her he says "Do you know there are all weird, serious type of people here. That khadoos Dr. Abhimanyu, that Shanky and that Lady Pshyco teacher" When Nikki gives him a questioning look he says "Oh that doctor, whats her name Riddhima" Nikki is shocked at the name he has kept for his own love. Armaan continues "Even that Atul is weird !" Then with a dreamy smile he says " oh but, Anjali and Muskaan are so beautiful !" Nikki is even more shocked to hear it. Armaan continues "but even they have something loose here !" pointing to his head. Nikki is unable to say anything. She can sense how painful it must be for Riddhima to hear Armaan saying all this. She is unaware that Abhi is also listening to their conversation. Armaan says "Forget all that, now you are here, We'll have fun like before. Glad to have you around. Atleast I can talk to you." Then with a faraway look and serious tone he says "I don't know why I have this sort of fear from within... I feel a sense of uneasiness in this place!" Seeing Nikki's confused look he clears his throat and says " Hey, Don't tell anyone this okay. Dr. Armaan Mallik fears nothing" he tries boasting with a wink. He then looks at Nikki fondly and says "Now that you are here atleast I have someone to talk to, someone who knows me well enough" Nikki smiles at him. Taking Nikki's hands in his he asks her "Will you stay by my side always? I need you !" Nikki nods her head and says "Don't worry Armaan, everything will be fine ! I'll be there for you !" Armaan says thanks and hugs her again. He then turns to leave but then stops and turns back. Pointing a finger at Nikki he says "You've got to help me get rid of that Lady Psycho Teacher!". Nikki gives a half-hearted smile and Armaan leaves. Seeing Armaan leave Abhi is about to enter the room when he sees Riddhima walk out from her hiding place. She sits on the bench and with tears in her eyes she tells Nikki "See how Armaan has forgotten me completely. He doesn't remember anything about us. He is back to his old self. Flirting with everyone, Muskaan, Di, anyone he meets" Saying this she buries her face in her hand and cries bitterly. Nikki takes her in her arms and holds her tightly. She doesn't know what to say. "Dr. Riddhima you need to get a hold of yourself and make yourself strong!" The voice make Riddhima and Nikki look up and they see Abhimanyu standing near them. Seeing their searching looks he nods his head and says "Yes I know about Armaan's condition and I heard everything that Armaan just said to Nikki!" Nikki looks at him and he gives her an understanding nod. Abhi continues to say "We all have to control our feelings and do our best to help Armaan out!" Riddhima and Nikki both give him grateful looks. Riddhima sees Abhi and Nikki staring at each other. She says "people don't express their love when the person is with them. Life doesn't always give us a second chance!" Abhi and Nikki realise what Riddhima is trying to tell them. They exchange a shy smile. Riddhima says "Thank God Armaan is here with me. I shudder to think what would have happened......." Nikki puts an assuring arm around Ridz and says " Don't worry Riddhima we will do our best for Armaan!" Riddima worriedly says "But how ! Armaan refuses to talk to anyone. The only person he is comfortable in sharing and talking things out is with you !". Abhi looks at Nikki and says "Yes Nikki, we need to know what all Armaan is feeling and going through and since you are the only person he is comfortable confiding in, you are the link between Armaan and us". Nikki stands up and looks nervously at Abhi. She fumbles with "but You....You were never too fond of Armaan.... You.... "Abhi smiles and takes her hand in his. "Nikki things do change... Right now Armaan and Riddhima need as much as help they can get and we should do our best...... Don't worry I am with you !" he assures her patting her hand. Riddhima is surprised to see their little exchange. She smiles and says " this means you both ......you both ..... she is so happy she is unable to say any further. Nikki and Abhi blush. Taking his hands away from Nikki and smiling at Riddhima he says "I've got to go, I've got some work" Then give an assuring look to Riddhima he says "don't worry we are with you, everything will be fine.'' As he turns to leave he looks at Nikki and says "I'll see you later !" She nods and he leaves. A happy Riddhima hugs Nikki and excitedly "asks when did this happen ?" Nikki blushes and tells her everything that happened in Rajasthan. Riddhima says "I am so happy for both of you" and they both hug again

Its 6pm. Abhi is in a meeting when he receives a sms from Nikki asking where is he ? why isn't he picking the phone. Hidingly, he manages to reply "he is in a meeting will finish in an hour". Nikki smses back saying dinner at 9 at her place and he returns an "OK".

Having prepared Abhi's favourite dishes, Nikki goes in for a shower. She doesn't hear her cell phone ringing continuously. Having showered and dressed in a pink strappy knee length dress, as she looks at herself in the mirror, she blushes as Abhi's face keeps flashing in front of her eyes. She looks at her watch. Its. 8.30 pm, he should be here soon. She goes to the living room and lighting up a candle, begins to light up the candles she had decorated the room with. The door bell rings. "Abhi ? Early ?" Nikki gives a happy smile. Straightening her hair and dress she goes to the door. When she opens the door her smile turns to surprise. Instead of Abhi she sees a grinning Armaan on her doorsteps.

PART II

"You !" Nikki asks in a surprised tone. Armaan says "Yes Me !" Why were u expecting someone else?" Nikki shakes her head in negative. Armaan says "Good, because I wanted to talk to you" Seeing Nikki still looking at him in a daze, Armaan says "Arre, can I come in or not ?" Nikki comes out of her stupor and says "Oh sorry, come in !" Armaan enters the house and looking around says "Wow !. This is lovely ! " Nikki quickly switches on the lights and nervously says "Few....... few friends were to come for dinner..!" Armaan teasingly says "Friends or Boyfriend !".... looking at Nikki's shocked expression he says "I am joking yaar, tried calling you but you were not picking up the phone so I thought I'll take a chance you would be at home." ......

Its still another 5 mins to 9 pm. Abhi can't wait anymore and rings the bell of Nikki's door. Suddenly he hears "Dr. Modi!" He turns and is surprised to see Riddhima. In a surprised tone he asks "Dr. Riddhima? You ?" Riddhima says "Yes Dr. Modi, I came to tell Nikki......" but before Riddhima can complete the door opens. Abhi and Riddhima turn towards the door and are shocked to see Armaan standing there. He asks sarcastically "Yes? have you both come to the wrong address ?" Abhi and Riddhima look at each other. Meanwhile Nikki too comes to the door and looking at Abhi's confused expression, looks pleadingly at him. She then tells Armaan "Armaan they are my guests. Let them come in !" Armaan says "Oh!" and moves inside. As Abhi enters, with eyes fixed on Nikki, he hands over a beautiful packaged box of chocolates to her. Nikki continues to give him helpless looks as he walks in. Riddhima follows Abhi inside and she gives an apologetic look to Nikki. She quietly whispers "Where have you been ? I've been trying to reach you, to tell you Armaan was headed to your place!" Nikki says "oh I must have been in the shower then and I haven't checked my phone since then" Riddhima says "I am so sorry for this ! I overhead Armaan saying he wanted to speak to you and that he'll check if you were at home!" I wanted to stop him but he kind of disappeared from my sight!" Nikki says "its ok,its not your fault !" Meanwhile Armaan calls out "What are you two whispering ? Riddhima enters and Nikki shuts the door ! There is an awkward silence. Armaan is oblivious to the confused and chaotic minds of the other three people in the room. Looking at Abhi and Riddhima standing together he says "Oh so you both are a couple! You both make a nice pair !" Nikki, Abhi, Riddhima look at each other with shocked expressions ! Armaan leans over and tries to whisper to Nikki "Real good pair, Khadoos and Psycho Teacher" he smiles gleefully! Abhi gets annoyed and says "Do you mind ? It doesn't mean that every guy and girl standing together are a pair !" Armaan says "Woah Woah, angry aren't we ?" Then boxing Abhi slightly on the chest says "Chill Bro ! I was just joking. Did not mean anything offensive !" Nikki tries to diffuse the tense situation by hurriedly saying "dinner is ready. Shall we eat ?" They quietly move to the dinner table. Once the food is laid out Nikki sits to the left of Abhi while Riddhima and Armaan are opposite them. Armaan continues his light talks unaware of the uncomfortable looks the other three are exchanging with each other. Once again when Armaan's remark annoys Abhi, Nikki puts her right hand on Abhi's hand to stop him from saying anything. Abhi looks at her and then gives her an understanding look. Armaan then manages to annoy Riddhima and they get into an argument. Abhi slowly removes his hand from Nikki's hold making Nikki's hand fall on to his lap. He then puts his same hand over hers and caresses it. Nikki blushes. Holding hands and with amusement on their faces, they watch Riddhima and Armaan argue. A few minutes later Armaan holds his head and says "Oh my head hurts !" Riddhima worriedly says "Kya hua Armaan ?" Nikki and Abhi too rush near him. Armaan says "don't know I am feeling very sleepy ! I need a good sleep. I haven't been sleeping well the past few nights ! Ridz, Nikki-Abhi look at each other not knowing what to do or what to say. Meanwhile to their surprise Armaan closes his eyes and falls asleep. After checking he was fine and had indeed gone to sleep, Abhi carries Armaan to the guest room and puts him on the bed. Nikki asks Riddhima to stay back just incase Armaan needs any help. Riddhima nods and tells Abhi and Nikki she is sorry for their evening getting spoilt. Abhi assures her with "You don't that have to apologise. Some things are beyond our control. So not to worry !" He then looks at Nikki who was removing sheets from the wardrobe and says its time he left too as he has to be in Sanjeevani early tomorrow. Saying his goodnite to Riddhima and telling Nikki he is waiting outside he leaves the room.

Nikki hands over the sheets to Riddhima and leaves the room hurriedly. Finding Abhi nowhere she opens the outside door and sees him sitting on the steps of the porch. Both elbows resting on his knees he was toying with a tiny twig. Nikki walks down the steps and sits down beside him. Slipping her hand in between his hand she rests her head on his shoulder. Sadly she says "I am sorry Abhi for this evening. This is not what I planned for us" Abhi smiles and entwining his fingers into the fingers of her hand which was holding him says "As I told Riddhima, sometimes things don't always go according to our plan. This isn't anyone's fault. Its just destiny !" Nikki smiles and says "Thanks for understanding!" Abhi looks fondly down into her face. With a dreamy look he says "Never got to tell you, but you look really beautiful today !" Happy in the thought that inspite of all that happened he noticed her looks, Nikki blushes. With a mischievous glint in his eyes Abhi continues "I should actually thank Armaan today. Its because of him I got saved" Looking at Nikki's puzzled expression he continues "I think someone had every intention of killing me today !" Nikki looks at him with a shocked expression and seeing him laughing, she pinches him with her free hand. Abhi gives out a slight "Ouch" and bends towards her and kisses her. A few minutes later he gets up hurriedly pulling her gently up along with him saying its time he left. Nikki pleads "Please stay for a while". Abhi says "Tempting, but its best I go now" Giving her a kiss on her forehead he walks towards his car. Nikki calls out "Abhi will you call when you reach home ?" He says "No its too late, once I call we'll never finish so its best not to call !" Nikki says "I am sure you won't be able to help it and will definitely call me!" Abhi reaches the car. He smiles and turns to her and says "And I am sure I won't !" "If you don't call I... I..... won't talk to you !" Nikki finishes with a sulk. Abhi sits in the car and belts himself up. He then looks at Nikki who was sulking and says "Goodnite and Sleep Well. We'll talk tomorrow !" Throwing a flying kiss in her direction, he drives off.

Nikki is annoyed now. Not only her plans of being alone with Abhi got ruined and no one can be blamed for it, but Abhi had to spoil it further with his stubborness. She checks on Armaan and finds him sleeping. On a couch in the same room, Riddhima too has fallen asleep. Nikki goes to her room and changes into her night clothes. As she gets into bed she checks her phone and is surprised to see 10 missed calls from Armaan, Riddhima and Abhi. She remembers she was so lost in Abhi's thoughts while she was in the shower that is why she didn't hear the phone ring. As she puts her head on her pillow she knew Abhi won't be calling. "He always does what he says!" she makes a face at the very thought. The cell phone in her hand beeps a message. Nikki smiles when she sees its from Abhi "I promised not to call you but still can send my message across to you. To stay entrapped in your love, I need to retain my sanity, something I find so difficult to do whenever I am with you! Good night and I love you . Nikki turns red and smiles. Abhi gets a reply from Nikki "I love you for what you are ! You complete me ! I really love you!" Both of them have a smile on their face as they close their eyes.

The scene was amazing and a track that has so much potential.. only if cvs can get over Su Dreams..
you showed abhi-niki-ridz bond so well..
AN's understanding each other and those smses and sitting outside the door was so cute...

Wow Mich lovely scene loved it very much 😳 Armaan comes to niki house and armaan asking niki whether she is waiting for friend or boyfriend😳 Rid and abhi entering niki house at same time and armaan opening door and asking have to both came to wrong address.Armaan saying to niki Real good pair khadoos and psycho teacher.😆

Abhi and niki holding hand during dinner 😳 AN having lovely conversation outside house and kiss 😳 AN sms each other before going to sleep lovely scene 😳
Both the scenes were great 👏
I hope we get scene like this .

Thank you Javs, Annu, Priyanka and angel_sub, Glad you all liked the scene... yeah Priyanka I am so fed up with Susu and wanted her out completely of AN's system. I am so looking forward to having AN back at Sanjeevani and could not help visualise this scene. Thank you all for your lovely comments.
