Episode - 28 Wednesday - 05.08.09

Subu's praying and calls Ganga to take karpoora aarthi. All of a sudden the flame goes out and Subu's worried. Ayya tells Ganga that Subu's always worried and to reflame the karpoora aarthi. Ganga agrees and informs Ayya about Charu's dance programme. Ayya's happy, but Subu complains about her dropping grades. Maniyam (??) comes in and he's informed about Ganga's wedding and Ayya questions him whether he's in town for Ganga's wedding. He replies that he wouldn't want to miss Ganga's wedding and he'd take care of everything. Subu asks him to wait and brings in a tray and hands it to him. She asks him to do a prayer for their Kuladeivam and to tell them the date so that they can all come together. Ayya says Natchiya also said the same thing. Mainyam leaves. Muthu arrives and questions them about Charu and Rama since it's very quiet. Ganga tells her Charu and Rama went to meet their frinds. Ayya asks Muthu whether she showed the saree to her husband and son. Muthu tells him she didn't because she left the saree at Rathnavel's house and took the saree they selected. Ayya suggests Ganga to get the saree from Rathnavel's house. Manga acca arrives at the same time and finds out about the saree. She asks to speak to Muthu alone. She tells Muthu getting the wrong saree doesn't sound right and it may suggest bad things. Muthu's worried and prays for the wedding to take place smoothly.

Karpagam welcomes Ganga and asks her to sit down. Ganga sits and Karpagam leaves to get her something to drink. JC arrives and he asks Ganga whether she's bored and asks her to read a book. Ganga remains quiet. Karpagam hands the drink to Ganga and question why they're quiet. No reply and Karpagam wonders why Ganga's here. Ganga tells her about the saree and Karpagam's happy. She asks Ganga to keep the saree because it was bought for her. Rathnavel arrives and Karpagam asks him that she wants to speak him. Karpagam suggests that she feels as though Ganga is their veetu marumagal. She informs him about what has happened and Rathnavel tells her not to imagine that the groom will also change like the saree. Karpagam's worried and he asks her to give Ganga her saree. She hands Ganga the saree and Ganga leaves.

Subu telling Ayya how it's not good sending Ganga to get the saree and he could have asked Krishnan to get the saree. Ganga arrives and Subu questions her about not handing back their saree. Ganga tells her that they told her to keep the saree. Subu doesn't like the idea and Ayya tells her not to complain. Subu's worried about what Muthu might say if she found out. Ganga's worried - screen splits in three with Ganga in the middle and SK and JC on either side!

Ganga and Vishwa are talking about the wedding. Ganga says she can't talk veerappu because they all want her to get married to someone from Ayya's side of the family. Ganga adds about her and family wanting Ayya's side of the families to accept them. Vishwa tells her that they don't support them now then how can she expect them to treat them any different after the wedding. Ganga suggest it's about making the bond stronger between the families and that is the reason why Natchiya got KK to marry Izhavanji and that it also what her mother wants. She asks him to come to her nichayathaartham and to take responsibilities. He agrees. Rama and Chandra are listening.

Vishwa asks the watchman outside that he wants to meet SK, but he asks him to make an appointment or to go to SK's workplace. He tells the watchman he already tried his workplace before coming here. Watchman doesn't agree to let him in. Inside SK's on the phone talking about making it to a meeting immediately. Amma asks him to eat, but he leaves. Vishwa tries for the final time and it doesn't workout. When Vishwa's about to leave he sees SK coming and asks him whether he can speak to him. SK leaves telling him another time. Vishwa's disappointed and says he tried one last time for Ganga.

Izhavanji complaining about KK and Saravanan not talking to Nathciyar. She walks in and questions Izhavanji about what they're discussing. KK asks Natchiyar about going to the nichayathaartham and she replies that they're also coming with her as it's requested by Ayya.

JC's driving and Kulasekaran's phone rings. He answers the call and it's a customer wanting some load sent to him immediately. Kulasekaran asks JC to drive to the mill and the customer is present there. He informs them about the urgency and asks him to send them immediately. There is no lorry driver to carry the load, so Kulasakaran decides to drive the lorry. JC reminds him about his eye operation and he'd drive the lorry. He's getting ready to drive and Kulasekaran calls KK and asks him to come to his mill.
