A major part of Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey was shot in and around a certain chawl in south Mumbai. At the insistence of the chawl's kids, a group of giggling ladies sent home-made poha for Shahid Kapoor.

This was the start of a friendship between the actor and the kids. Soon he started playing cricket with the children and he got them chocolates and encouraged them to be more regular at school.

He promised the kids that when Kaminey was ready, he would show it to them. Now Shahid has spoken to the production house and a special screening is on the cards for the residents of the chawl in the coming week. He sure is a man of his word.

There is nothing horrifying or cheap about the film, lol. Vishal met this family at the airport, and their little kid was like "Uncle, whats the name of your next film?", his dad was like "I'll tell you later, son." Then Vishal asked the dad why he was so hesistant in telling the name of his film to his son, and then Vishal goes "Its called Kaminey" and the kid laughed. Kaminey is not some hard core cuss word, everyone in India uses it in their day to day life. Plus, here Kaminey is used in a funny way.

How sweet!!

When I was in India for studies for the year, at the hostel, saying kamini and kaminey was no big deal lol. I was like hawww when I first heard the girls saying it, but then pata chala that it's ok. Girls used it amongst each other with friends. It's not even a swear word now, it's like w/e lol. It would be like oye kamini door khol lol. Good days hahaha.

Its not about the title here.. im sure theres alot of violence and cursing in the movie which is not appropriate for children of such young age. I know i wouldnt show it to my chilren, on a second thought I wouldnt show them any Bollywood movies until they are sensible enough.

Oh ok, but Vishal and Shahid have made sure that they are no cuss words in Kaminey. There is a kissing scene and possibly a bedroom scene too though..

Thanx..there is no-one in this world as perfect, sweet, genuine and adorable as he is..hes choooooooooo sweet to everyone around him that this is not news to me..may god bless his sincerity forever..those kids are so lucky..
