She seemed popular with the dadi and papa too. They treated her like a goddess. Her husband didn't even look at her for the rest of the night. Dadi finally came to her and introduced this woman as Ipshit. Ipshit was Shiv's childhood friend. They hadn't seen each other since Shiv's marriage as Ipshit was overseas completing her masters. They had kept in touch through email. Gauri was polite but had her doubts. A girl shouldn't be this clingy with a married man. Right?

After the party ended, Gauri retired to their room. She waited for Shiv but he didn't come. Gauri bet that he was with Ipshit. Who did she think she was with her American accent, long silky hair, and thin waist? At least Gauri didn't wear as much make-up as Ipshit. Gauri eventually fell asleep.

When Gauri woke up, Shiv was not in bed. Had he come back at all? If so did he spend the night with Ipshit? Gauri started to feel nauseous. Her husband wouldn't! Would he? After all they didn't have a real marriage; it wasn't until recently that she even spoke to him like a human. Tears started to swell up. She got into the shower and got ready for the day, she walked down to find everyone at the breakfast table. Shiv was sitting next to Ipshit and they were laughing and having a great time. Why couldn't he laugh with me like that? I want to bring that kind of joy to him.

Jealousy was steaming out of Gauri. I am his wife; I should be sitting next to him. She walked in and sat next to dadi, opposite Shiv. She looked at Shiv, he seemed really happy. Was there more than just friendship between the two but for some reason they couldn't be together. They made friendly conversation and Ipshit invited her to spend the day shopping. Gauri wanted to decline the invitation but thought this could be the perfect opportunity to get to know her and see what she is like. She could be a real nice girl or she could be trouble. So she happily accepted the invitation hoping she would find out information not just about her but also Shiv. His likes and dislikes.

Gauri later that day found out that Ipshit was actually a nice girl. She actually had fun with her. She told her that Shiv was a nice guy and they are best friends. They use to hang out all day when they were kids. Ipshits family was wealthy, another business and their marriage together would have been a perfect way to combine the two biggest companies but they didn't love each other. Ipshit and Shiv refused to marry each other because they saw each other as friends and nothing more. Shiv ended up with Gauri because it was decided by their parents. It was arranged, so why did he marry her? He didn't love her. At least Gauri could relax about Ipshit.

Gauri told her about the situation she was in with Shiv. Ipshit told her that slowly with love and care he would come around. He needs to know that she won't go back to being evil and break him all over again. He needs to feel secure.

Gauri got home that day and continued to be nice, making dinner for everyone. She talked and laughed but Shiv ignored her and moved. Gauri had enough; she followed him into the kitchen and stood opposite Shiv. She backed him up into the bench and pressed herself against him. "Stop running away from me. I am changing for you. I want you in every way. Please believe me. I know I haven't been the best but I am trying to be the wife you dreamed off and wanted. I can be her and can you honestly say you feel nothing when I move closer to your neck, kiss you softly like this... "

im totally loving ur FF! there are soo many i need to catch up on, just found yours and thought we'd give it a read..its soo lovelyy! i already love the chemistry between shiv and gauri.. and this is honestly different from the other FF's ..its gauri going after shiv..its so nice to read! and i love your writing too..you have really nice similies *wink*...

oh btw, can i make an itsy bitsy suggestion? when you write dialogues, can u put them in quotation marks? i used to do that for my FF too..until someone told me...and i realized it makes it much easier for the reader... without the quotation marks, the dialogues look like a part of the descriptions...hope you dont mind :-D

will it work or will it Flop ... hope it's the former .. i really want to see some cute and passionate 😳 Romantic scenes between the Two,😳 their were very less of them in the Show .. actually there was none in the show ... 😭 😳

anyways a nice update, hopefully the next one will be longer ...
