What is it with some immature posters here - every time someone has a slightly negative opinion about their fav - that poster is labelled "jealous" or a "hater". Can we quit with the personal attacks and stick to the topic being discussed ? The question asked by the OP was if Katrina's acting was phenomenal in NY - IMO it certainly was not. Calling me jealous or anything else will not change this since its MY opinion. If you want to compare the films of other actresses I mentioned - I am sure I can list plenty of Katrina's films to compete with what has been so selectively listed. My opinion is based on the current movies - not the ones that were made a few years ago. just compare this performance to Kareena's KI - even with a crappy story line and a half baked character, she excelled as the character she was playing. Similarly Aishwarya in Guru was good even tho she didnt have much to do in the movie and Sonam is Delhi -6 was great - she was really beleiveable as the girl next door.There is more to being an actress than looking pretty and shedding a few tears. Katrina is certainly improving so who knows a couple of years down the line she might give a truly award worthy performance - I certainly wouldnt write that off.
